THANKSgiving Day should be everyday for those of us who count our blessings. I too am thankful for my family and friends, the worldly riches and heavenly treasures that God has blessed me with... but not just today! With all of the emphasis that is put on today, whether it is about the large dinner that most of us dont need and the rest that will go to waste; the gathering of family to laugh, play and/or reflect; or the shopping that many of us are contemplating to do on Brown Thursday and Black Friday... this day should not be any more or less significant than yesterday, tomorrow or next week if we are truly Grateful andknow that the next second is not promised.
