THAT KATHUKITTA MOTTHHA VITHAIYUM ERAKKUNA MOMENT!! As I told, I was so bloody low for not going home for diwali and decided to bombard ppl with updates and was doing it.. Got a call for work at around 4:00 yesterday! And was going by bike.. As I was crossing the koyambed fly over, right in the middle of the bridge, there was an accident. A 22 yr old girl with her sister allegedly was going for a movie, with her sister in an activa and yes, without wearing helmets!! Innova collided, and her head banged the road and was pulseless. Sister who is not injured crying and screaming aloud for help!! Around 50 ppl were around taking pics.. Dunno for wat joy, and few were like, yaarachu ambulance ah koopidungale yaarachu car la drop pannungalen Dinesh Prabu crossed by as he got late to work.. Sheldon Subramaniam ( the conscience) told, chi... Thoo... Neeyellam oru doctor ah, first Manushana? Such an accident has occurred right in front of ur eyes and u r moving away.. Thoo Parked my bike got down and felt the carotid pulse.. Wasnt there.. Was soo feeble may be.. Crowd la oruthan : Saar Enna panreenga?? Me: konjam move panreenga la? Naan oru doctor!! Crowd gave way.. Raised the neck and tried to establish airway.. OK will do CPR!! First cycle chest compressions (Nothing happened) Second cycle compressions!! And YES!!!! Heart started pounding.. She opened her eyes and cud really feel the pulse!! What a moment, wat a feel?? Got goosebumps!! ***a chance ae illa!! Ambulance was ready by then, shifted to the closest emergency hospital and carried on!! :) Call me a vilambara virumbi, attention seeker whatever, I think its a must for everyone to know about the basics of CPR, so that ppl can do something useful rather than taking pics!! Thank u dear lord for jus getting me der, the best feeling I ve ever had in my life.. Diwali Ku veetuku poi irundha, may be something else cud have happened.. Everything is a design!!
