THAT MOST WONDERFUL BOOK: THE BIBLE!! I read a lot of Holiness Christian Biography. Really, Im just not interested in reading any other kind and since so far the books I have read are from the old,old past challenges me and I want to experience more and more of Christs Love. It is absolutely amazing to read about the preachers of old who were not afraid of man or beast. They proclaimed the truth and won hundreds and thousands to the Lord. The Bible is like no other book you read. It will guide you into all truth if you will read it with no prejudiced ideas of you own. Take any of the commandments. Do you think for one minute they were written just for the Old Testament Age? When Moses came down from the Mount and saw them worshiping a man-made idol that Aaron had formed from the jewelery they had taken off themselves and had gathered from among them, he was wrougth. Well, do you think after the second time God rewriting them to read and demand of the people they are any less expected today? OF COURSE NOT, but you add and take away as it is convenient. Why, do you do that? I think there are some very, good well meaning people who are caught up in whatever their denomination allows or says and dont see they need to search the Scriptures for themselves, but you have to remember that if you love God with all your heart, He will guide you into all Truth. We should always take matters to the Lord and let Him explain his meaning, because He is the AUTHOR. He knows what He meant for every Scripture. Im almost through reading the Life Of John Newton. I always had in mine he was a vile, uneducated slave trader on the open sea who was steeped in the vises of sin who later became thoroughly born gain and wrote AMAZING GRACE. That is true in part but here was an intelligent man that his mother taught to read at a very, very early age. Much later he found the Lord and was a very knowledgeable minister and another very intelligent minister took offense to his preaching and was along time if ever,fully accepting Newtons teachings because of his own pride and arrogance. That element in anyone has to die before you can get anywhere understanding the truth of God and His Word. You do not have to undersand all of the Word to know HIM but you cannot serve Him wholeheartedly until you forsake your haughty, proud, unteachable attitude. The Bible is different from all other Books, you have to know the Author to enjoy His Book but other books you can enjoy without knowing personally the author but just cant wait to continue the fiction it unfolds, it is just a story. You dont read the Bible that way but if you read it because you know the author it becomes the most powerful Book and the most inspiring Book you have ever read because it is LIFE sent from Heaven to you by God Almighty and through His Son Jesus. It is the one Book that is THE ROADMAP from Earth to HEAVEN. We must read it for knowledge! We must not take what a denomination teaches all together. God, if we are really born of the Spirit will guide us into all truth. It is so important to learn from the source of INSPIRATION!! After all only theTrue Church of God those redeemed by the blood of the LAMB, His whole body of believers will be in Heaven and they will not be recogonized by a denomination.
