THAT RAINY DAY BY: DRISHTI DUBE As in a rainy day I was sitting alone in my balcony,cheerishing that romantic moment with a cup of coffee in my hand. Suddenly my phone started beeping,I didn’t wanted to pick it up bt was already disturbed on this beautiful morning.But as soon as I saw his name being flashed on my phone’s screen I was on cloud 9. I thought it would be best to talk to your love in this romantic weather. But as soon as I picked up the call my life became dark like the dark clouds of that stormy day. I collected the needed stuff and rushed towards the city hospital.I took directions from the hospital’s reception and fastened my steps towards the ward.As I entered the ward where he was fighting for his life, I was shocked to see so much darkness and was already in tears when suddenly from nowhere someone took hold of my hand. And after that in no time lights were on and I saw him sitting on his knees holding my hand in his and presenting a ring to me from the other hand.That very moment I broke out in loud sobs,scolded him but finally said ‘YES’ and that very moment I knew I’ll be his queen forever and ever.That rainy day was best day of my life and now each morning we share same coffee mug like a happy couple ready to live their lives together……
