THE ABC’s OF SALVATION..... A…..Ask GOD for forgiveness. Why do I need forgiveness from GOD? Because: (1) “All have sinned and come short of the Glory [perfection] of GOD” (Romans 3:23) (2) “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). (3) “If we say that we have NO SIN, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1John 1:8) .....B…..Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins: (1) “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus], that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16) (2) “For He [GOD] has made Him [Jesus] to be SIN for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). .......C…..Confess that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was raised from the dead to give eternal life. (1) “If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that GOD has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9, 10). If you follow the simple ABC steps given, you will be saved! This is written, “that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13). ====================================== Please repeat this simple prayer: Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sins. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. I ask that You SAVE me, in Jesus’ name I pray; Amen. If you have sincerely repeated this simple prayer, you are now saved. Now, become a member of a Bible-believing church in your area, and read your Bible daily, beginning with the Gospel of John.
