THE ADORATION ACCORDED TO MARY BY ROMAN CATHOLICISM IS BLATANT IDOLATRY AND ABOMINATION UNTO THE LORD! Vatican II Council: “As St. Irenaeus says, she being obedient, became the cause of salvation for herself and for the whole human race. Hence not a few of the early Fathers gladly assert with him in their preaching ... ‘death through Eve, LIFE THROUGH MARY.’ This UNION OF THE MOTHER WITH THE SON IN THE WORK OF SALVATION is made manifest from the time of Christ’s virginal conception up to his death” (Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, chap. 8, II, 56, pp. 380-381). “Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but BY HER MANIFOLD INTERCESSION CONTINUES TO BRING US THE GIFTS OF ETERNAL SALVATION. By her maternal charity, she cares for the brethren of her Son, who still journey on earth surrounded by dangers and difficulties, until they are led into their blessed home. Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of ADVOCATE, HELPER, BENEFACTRESS, and MEDIATRIX” (Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, chap. 8, II, 62, pp. 382-383). A plaque in the Chapel of the Virgin of the Grace at Saints Vincent and Anastasius Church in Rome says, “Cardinal Benedetto Odescalchi, who became the pope with the name of Innocent XI, initiated THE WORSHIP OF THE IMAGE, placed on the altar in 1677, and wanted his heart to be buried here, not in the main chapel.” [From a quote by David Cloud, Way of Life] BIBLE TEACHINGS ON THE TRUTH ABOUT SALVATION AND INTERCESSION: 1. Our great High Priest Intercessor in Heaven is the LORD JESUS CHRIST as noted in HEBREWS 7:22-28,[22] By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. [23] And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: [24] But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. [25] Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [26] For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; [27] Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the peoples: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. [28] For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. 2. Our only Mediator between man and God is the LORD JESUS CHRIST not Mary. The apostle Paul in 1 TIMOTHY 2:5 declares, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Mary is disqualified to be a mediator because she is not God-man but a woman who also needs a Saviour being a sinner like us. LUKE 1:46-47, And Mary said, My soul doth magnify. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 3. POPE INNOCENT XI was an idolatrous pope who initiated the WORSHIP OF THE IMAGE, placed on the altar in 1677, and wanted his heart to be buried here, not in the main chapel. He was absolutely wrong to do this outright abomination of idolatry transgressing the teaching of the LORD in EXODUS 20:3-5,[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. [4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: [5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 4. To address Mary as the MOTHER OF GOD and to believe that she is without sin; that she ascended to heaven bodily in glorified state, and that she is our helper of our souls to go to heaven are absolute false teachings of the Roman Catholic traditions of men accursed by the Lord. MATTHEW 15:7-9, [7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, [8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. [9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
