THE ALI AHMAD I KNOW In my own personal and independent mind free - TopicsExpress

THE ALI AHMAD I KNOW In my own personal and independent mind free from dictation from any political thin god, i have decided to keep mute and watch Ali Ahmad fade away disgracefully on his own because I saw no reason to talk about a dead-living politician like Ali Ahmad. I saw no reason to talk about a worthless politician who has lost his credence and political values. I saw no reason to talk about a failed Associate Professor of law who has brought shame and dismay to his family, ward and his local government. I saw no reason to talk about a rejected man by his own people. I saw no reason to further enlighten the general public about the most popular political failure whose failure is evidenced by his political demotion and massive rejection by his home people, no wonder the PDP flag bearer for Ilorin South’s posters flood Ali’s family house. But, silence is not just sacred in an unjust situation but silence may also be an unforgivable sin when a failure paints himself as a performer all in a bid to deceive the general electorates who have lost confidence in the most learned but failed legislator representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja. It is indeed not an understatement saying the years of Ali Ahmad as the representative of Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly is a waste! To set history straight and counter the character assassination on an irrelevant basis by one Ibrahim Ahmad, a younger brother to Ali Ahmad who also doubled as G23 adviser though later run away simply because a socio-political group known as G23 Youths movement ask him to advise his brother because they’ve seen that he’s already failing the people due to his poor performance as different from the second G 23 advisers, a very popular humanitarian, seasonal philanthropist and a well acceptable grassroot politician in his local jurisdiction in person of M B Tunde Akanbi (Oniyo). It is an unarguable fact Ali Ahmad as at 2011 was a largely unpopular candidate even regarding the fact that he has served in various political portfolios in Kwara state. Just like their usual “mo fun e” syndrome, the Reps ticket was given to Alh. Gani Cook Olododo before their Dealer later robbed Olododo of the mandate for Ali Ahmad understanding that he needs a core loyalist and sycophant and Olododo may be rigid for him (Bukola Saraki) to maneuver. For this reason, he opted for Ali Ahmad who we all felt was rich with knowledge of law and would make a good representative but proved us wrong. 1. We shouldn’t blame Ali Ahmad for not protecting our interest but that of Bukky, because Bukky single handedly imposed him on us. We should only correct our mistakes by not voting in any such candidate born out of imposition by a dubious political capitalist called leader again. Saying M B Tunde Akanbi (Oniyo) was an entourage of Ali Ahmad is indeed very derogatory. Let me affirmatively state it here that Tunde Akanbi (Oniyo) is a sponsor of Ali Ahmad in the 2011 general election. He single handedly sponsored large quantity of customized shirts, recharge cards, note books among other items for Ali Ahmad’s campaign and funded the G23 youth movement founded by him (Oniyo) to mobilize students and youths support for Ali Ahmad. It is also important to state here that Oniyo has been consulting on ICT for Kwara state polytechnic before 2010 and Ali Ahmad was no where to be found as at that time and has no connection with Oniyo’s contract. As if that was not enough, after Ali Ahmad’s emergence, he continuously failed in his promises to people that labored for his success especially members of G23 youth movement which Ibrahim Ahmad was the association’s adviser from Ilorin South. While Ibrahim Ahmad was stiff in responding to the clamour of members of the group and call his brother (Ali Ahmad) to attention, Oniyo always stood his ground, agitate for the group and usually cover up for Ali Ahmad by personally embarking on various projects in communities of Ilorin east and scholarship sponsorship for members of the group and generality of his constituents in Ali Ahmad’s name. It is so funny how senseless it sounds to say that Ali Ahmad who couldn’t facilitate a mere security job replacement in Kwara state University for Ibrahim Abdulkareem from BF3 (now PDP ward secretary) to replace Idris Taiye Eyinofi (now a PDP supporter) who got a better job as custom officer facilitated by Prof. Oba Abdulraheem (which Ali Ahmad is dubiously claiming the glory), or Ali Ahmad who coulnt secure common kwarapoly HND admission for his brother (Imam Ahmad Abdulwahab). Is it this same Ali Ahmad they are claiming he facilitated Tunde Akanbi’s board membership appointment in Kwara polytechnic? Hell NO! It was sequel to Oniyo’s financial and physical commitment to the cause of PDP then that prompted his appointment. Despite the relatively low economic benefit attributable to governing council membership, Oniyo”s giant strides in areas of community and human capital development can be equated to that of Ali Ahmad who is a serving member of the National Assembly. He made laudable and landmark achievements that supersedes that of all other higher political office holders (appointed or elected) from Ilorin east LG. Can Ibrahim Ahmad tell us, what he mean by over ambitiousness before I conclude that low self esteem is a generic trait in both himself and his failure brother (Ali Ahmad)? If as a student leader, we have a senior colleague (Hon. Yayale Ahmed) as a representative of his constituency at the national assembly, if we can have a senior colleague (Jude Imagwe) as a senior special adviser to the president, why then would any reasonable person say Oniyo is over ambitious to contest local government chairmanship or representative when he is sure of his acceptability by his people? Can anyone remind Ibrahim Ahmad how old Bukola Saraki was when he became Kwara State governor in 2003? I can see it has now come to the knowledge of Kwarans that Bukola Saraki is always threatened by the growth in strength of a generally acceptable and popular political protégés, he would rather prefer empowering sychophants who would turn deaf hears to the electorates yearnings and only listen and act to his own selfish instructions to impoverish Kwarans even against his followers interest. Evidences for which are the imposition of the likes of Ali Ahmad as state Assembly member flagbearer for APC against the interest of the party faithful, Segilola, Amuda Kannike among others are all Bukky’s agent which their fellow party men rejected, but it is no more a news that the singular interest of Bukola Saraki is superior to that of his followers which he sees and treats as fools. This was the same problem they had with Oniyo as they were threatened by the level of his political strength at such tender age of his political career. Let me also at this junction also clarify that M B Tunde Akanbi (ONIYO) actually showed interest in contesting for Ilorin east local government chairman but “there was never any primary election to that effect”. Bukola Saraki single handedly handpicked Barrister Lateef Okandeji who never showed interest to contest just like he handpicked Ali Ahmad and Amuda Kannike . can anyone come out and tell us what Lateef Okandeji and other imposed Local Government chairmen in Kwara state has achieved in office so far? If we re-elect any of Bukky’s boys again, the political prototype is what we have been seeing and it will remain the same until we boot them out of Kwara entirely. Equally, Ibrahim Ahmad alleged that Tunde Akanbi (ONIYO) lobbied for S A. I want to categorically say that if Oniyo had considered his personal interest or benefit, he would prefer to be with Bukola Saraki team today, but understanding that a level playing ground should be enabled for all to triumph regardless of creed or family pedigree has made him courageously resist pressures and desperate seductions from Bukola Saraki’s camp through some notable stakeholders I will not mention here. To round this piece up, I would like to remind Ibrahim and Ali Ahmad that as at 2011 when he was contesting for Ali Ahmad was contesting for Reps, the slogan was “ALIHERI 2011” AND NOT Ali Dodo which is a general nick name for anyone bearing Ali. Secondly, aside Ali Support Group formed by the party structure then, G23 youth movement founded and funded by Tunde Akanbi and G11 founded bu Hamzat Usman, there was no other fronline or renown group internally working for Ali Ahmad then. Where then did you manufacture “Ali Dodo Vanguard”? biter politics of noise making can not change your bad-will to goodwill, it is better you accept your rejection in good faith as we would give no room for hypocritical politics of deceit. Ask for more and ou shall be offered accordingly! Comr. Ibrahim Sheriff Gold MEMBER & DOM, G23 YOUHT MOVEMENT
