THE ANCIENT LANDMARKS Every immoral behavior that was once a shame is now proudly advertised on the TV and internet; the walls of the Church have collapsed. The boundary between the world and the Church has been adjusted… The ancient landmarks have been removed. The world has found a big enterprise in the Church. Salvation, Holiness and Righteousness are becoming unpopular messages on the pulpit while greed and personal ambition/interests are being slot in behind the Bible verses for selfish interests. Those who seek the old time Religion are becoming the object of scorn and ridicule. The bible says “Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up; Jer 18:15” The removal of a landmark was a serious crime; in Israel it was a violation of the Law of Moses (Deuteronomy 19:14; 27:17). Removing landmarks (“boundary markers”) could be represented as changing ancient customs and laws (Proverbs 22:28; 23:10; cf. Job 24:2). Remember that Jesus is coming for a Church without spot or wrinkle! Beware and be warned!
