THE ANTIMESSIAH WILL SET HIS HEADQUARTERS IN JERUSALEM And he - TopicsExpress

THE ANTIMESSIAH WILL SET HIS HEADQUARTERS IN JERUSALEM And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palaces between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him (Daniel 11:45). Since the Six Day War of 1967, the Arab world has attempted to liberate Jerusalem from the hands of the Jews. While the Temple Mount and the two mosques, the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa, are in the possession and control of the Muslim authorities, the Muslim belief is that Jerusalem should be the capital of what they call a Palestinian state and should be liberated from Jews and Christians. The more secular Muslims are not as dogmatic, but the majority of Middle Eastern Muslims demand that the Jews lose their grip on Islams third holiest city, Jerusalem, when the Antimessiah takes control of Jerusalem, the city will once again be divided, as before 1967, and a war to exterminate the Jews will continue unrestrained for 42 months: For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city (Zkharyah/Zechariah 14:2). But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall tread under foot forty and two months (Revelation 11:2). Before 1967, Jerusalem was divided between east and west Jerusalem. The eastern section was the county of Jordan and the western section was Israel. A large concrete wall topped with barbed wire served as a cold, hard reminder of the sharp division between Arab and Jew. After the Six Day War in 1967, Israel removed the wall and annexed east and west together as one city. This was the early stages of the fulfillment of in Tehillim/Psalms 102:16, stating that When ADONAI shall build up Tziyon, then he shall appear in His glory. Since 1967, those who have called themselves Palestinians have fought an internal battle for total control of Jerusalem. They see Israel as an invader, and America as a supporter of what they consider the infidel Jews. The terror attacks from inside Israel are meant to build opposition against Israel as the great of the Palestinians. The Palestinians claim they were there first and the Hews are illegally occupying what they call Palestine. Yet, a travel guide to Palestine published in 1906 by Karl Beadeker states the population of Jerusalem at 60,000, of whom 7,000 were Muslims, 13,000 were Christians, 40,000 were Jews. This survey was made when the Islamic Ottoman Empire (Turkey) was ruling! Prior to the formation of Yisrael/Israel in 1948, the Arab and Turkish Muslims along quite well with the Jews living in what they call Palestine. It was the formation of Yisrael/Israel in 1948 that changed the atmosphere. The re-establishment of Israel brought fear to the Muslim world, and the reunification of Jerusalem brought anger. Since 1948, Israel and Jerusalem have become center pieces of controversy. Since Muslims do not believe the Hewish Temples of King Solomon and King Herod ever sat on the Temple Mount, The Night Journey story tells them that they alone should control the holy mountain of Mohammed. The controversy of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount will be the flame that ignites a fiery conflict inside Israel. The one group that demands the departure of the Jews from Jerusalem is the Muslims. Question: with whom is Israel trying to make peace? Answer: The Islamic world, including the Palestinians, the Syrians and other Islamic nations. Question: Who lays claim to Jerusalem? Answer: Three world religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. Question: Who would attempt to stop the building of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem? Answer: Islam. Muslims consider Jerusalem to be the third holiest site of their religion. Question: What world religion still uses a sword to punish people who sin against their religion? Answer: Fanatical Islam. In certain countries, if you steal, they cut off your hand. Question: What global religion still practices beheading people? Answer: Islam. Under certain crimes, people are beheaded, as they will be during the Tribulation. Question: If Jews are fleeing during the Tribulation, and Christians are being beheaded for their testimony, then what Gentile religion could reclaim control over Jerusalem? Answer: Islam and over a billion Muslims around the world. The Antimessiah will set himself up as god in a future rebuilt Jewish Temple. Rabbi Shaul, Yeshuas Emissary (Paul) wrote, For the Day will not come until after the Apostasy has come and the man who separates himself from Torah has been revealed, the one destined for doom. He will oppose himself to everything that people call a god or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the temple of G-d and proclaim that he himself is G-d (2 Thessalonians 2:3,4 - The Complete Jewish Bible). When the radical Islamic leader takes over Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia, he will then invade Jerusalem to liberate the Temple Mount from the hands of the Jews. Any Muslim who could liberate Jerusalem from Jewish control would be a hero to Muslims across the world.
