THE ARREST OF NANS NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT EXTERNAL ON THE ORDER OF MR FAYOSE IS NONSENSICAL. By Comrade Aluta Ay. It sadden me when I read in punch online news the arrest of NANS National Vice President External Comrade Tosin Ogunkuade on the order of the executive governor of the state of stomach infrastructure, after addressing nigeria students on the incapability of GEJ administration to solve the problems facing nigeria students and the sector as well. It was gathered that Comrade Tosin Ogunkuade NANS National Vice President External was trailed to Ikogosi Ekiti State by the Fayoses touts after he highlighted the challenges facing Nigeria students in APC presidential rally in the state capital, where he emphasized that the present efforts by government is not capable of redressing the hardship facing nigeria students. The action of Mr Fayose to have ordered his arrest after he was cut with machete by governor of stomach infrastructure hoodlums is not only barbaric but demonic and even an undeserved dent to the prestigious image of National Association of Nigeria Students NANS. I wouldnt have reacted to this, but a comrade must always meditate in the popular say that an injury to one, is an injury to all. If we failed to react to this abnormal behavior of Mr Fayose on our brother, it means we are betrayer of Aluta oneness and tomorrow may be our turn of involvement in such saga. How can a democratically elected governor of a state order the arrest of a comrade on behalf of GEJ for touching the areas affecting nigeria students in his speech? Does that mean GEJ runs an anarchical government, where freedom of speech sound strange to him and his errand motor park governor? The arrest of our brother on the order of Mr Fayose for speaking against PDP administration under the rule GEJ is nonsensical, I repeat. We appeal to all civil right organization, student association wings across this nation and nigeria students in general to dash into the issue, to facilitate the quick release of our brother from the detention of the governor of stomach infrastructure as the election is fastly approaching and to prevent such future occurrence.
