THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH FISHERIES ACT, 2006 (ACT NO. 5 OF 2006) was passed in the year 2006 but till today in all area of Arunachal Pradesh there is practicing of illegal fishing which causes serious environment concern.. the Environment Protection Group of Arunachal Hq at Aalo(EPGA) has filed a petition under the said act to ban all kinds of illegal fishing. the Deputy Commissioner Aalo Shri MK Sahoo has accepted the petition and direct the District Fishery development officer to finalize a report on it so that all kind of illegal fishing like gill netting, using of explosive substances may be banned in the district for ever. so very soon the executive order of DC Aalo under the provision of AP Fishery act 2006 will be promulgated very soon and any kind of illegal fishing accept traditional fishing is going to be banned in and around yomgo river and all the rivers of West Siang District. so may request all the citizen to cooperate the EPGA for proper implementation of the order under the said act.. Dr Geke Ete is heading the EPGA as Member Secretary and Shri Deba Loya as Vice President, so all the owner of the Fisherman is hereby requested to inform the fisherman to leave the station after getting the prohibition order..
