THE AUTUMN EQUINOX (A Harvesting of the Stems of Speech) those who know me... at least from my writings and have followed them know that I take my seasonal fasts from words. I usually pass the Solstices in silence... from written and spoken word but the Equinoxes... I usually simply limit such things to only absolutely necessary... communications. I try then to...consider my thoughts more... closely before I decide to speak. complete silence is more challenging for me and unnerving for those who have to be around me... but I must say that there is a gusto that returns to my verse... a kind of renewal that sits up inside of me... so... following midnight tonight...
