THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS, BUT GOD’S Warm greetings brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer! Today, we’re sharing with you the word of the Lord God, which talks about Hope, Trust in God, and Seek help from the Lord Almighty God. We need to know that no matter what difficult situation we may face or what condition the doctors may tell us, we must know that the battle is not ours, but God’s; we need to trust in Jehovah Almighty God and everything is possible in the name of Jesus Christ. Dear beloved friends, do you know that there is power in the name of Jesus? Do you real know that the grace of our LORD still available to anyone who calls upon the LORD? We want you to know that the Lord Jesus Christ shed His glorious and precious blood on the cross of Calvary to redeem us, to save us, to forgive our sins and bring salvation to those who believe in Him and to heal all diseases and sickness. My dearly friends in Christ, sometimes, we find ourselves in the battle in which we afraid to fight, and we fear that we are going to perish and lose it, but believe in Christ the Lord our Saviour who conquered Satan. We announce to you by the authority of the Holy Spirit, that you’re the winner of the battle, because Jesus Christ has overcome the world. Dear precious friends, we may be surrounded by a strong battle that we fear that we cannot win, but this is the great time to seek help and deliverance from our Lord Almighty God, because the Lord is the One to fight the battle for us. This is the way it must be to have the victory over sins. Only through what God has done, we can have the victory over our enemies. We cannot redeem ourselves from our sins; but we must repent first and turn away from sin. We have no price we can offer. The battle must be the Lords! There are many examples of this principle throughout the pages of Scripture. My dearly friends, the Bible tells us, “So Judah gathered together to seek help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord. My dearly friends, when the People of Moab with the people of Ammonites, and great multitude came to battle against Jehoshaphat” (2 Chronicles 20:1). King Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. “Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord before the new court, and he said, “O Lord, the God of our fathers; are You not God in the heavens? And are you not ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand so that no one can stand against you”. (2 Chronicles 20:4-6). Dear beloved friends, king Jehoshaphat had nowhere to turn because he cannot overcome the battle. Therefore they began to seek the help by praying the Lord Almighty to intervene the battle. The Bible tells us that Jehoshaphat stood in the temple and prayed. There was only one place to turn. Sometimes life is like that. And with reference to death, and eternity, God is the only One who can make a difference! The Lord responded through His prophet, Jahaziel. “And he said, listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you, Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s”. (2 Chronicles 20:15).Yes, here was a case where the battle had to be the Lords, or it would be lost. However, that the battle was the Lords did not mean that the people of Judah were to sit and do nothing. They were instructed: “You will need not to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you”. (2 Chronicles 20:17). They went out and faced their enemy, and the Lord gave them victory as they watched their enemys alliance fall apart and the former allies attack one another. Dear precious friends, we suggest you to read Isaiah 40:9-11, and Psalm 121:1-8. We need to Trust, and Believe in God and seek help from Him by praying and fasting, which is the key to overcome the battle. Remember, the Battle is not yours, but God’s. We need to surrender all our problems to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we will receive the solutions to our problems. May Jehovah Almighty God bless you and help you to seek Him in prayers and fasting! Shalom.
