THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD 4 The text in Isaiah 61:3 also said, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord’s favor. It’s a pity that some people do not want us to preach the acceptable year of God’s favor to the mourners in Zion except bearing of the cross in suffering and trials [ashes]. Well for such people they can chose to remain there but as for me, I am moving on from ashes to beauty. For “the trial of our faith is but for a moment” it has a time of expiration. It is not eternal. Jesus never remained on the cross [trials] nor in the grave but arose and today he is seated at the father’s right hand in glory. The scripture says “The prophets testified beforehand the suffering of Christ and the glory that should follow” 1 Peter 1:11. There is a glory that awaits every believer. They may be faced with challenges and trials however, every situation leads to greater glory. I see you coming out of everything that is unpleasant in your life into a greater glory. To be continued.
