THE BED/BOWLS ARRIVED A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THE DOGS LOVE THEM. Thank you all you K9Aid supporters who donated so generously to help us buy these large thick plastic bowls normally used for mixing concrete. The high sides keep the dogs warm from the cold winds that blow from the sea during the winter months and they can snuggle right down in them to keep warm. The thickness of the plastic has proved perfect as none of the bowls have been chewed and broken but have remained almost as pristine as they were when they were delivered! We would like to put some soft cushions in them but I know they would be ripped to pieces in seconds . If any of you kind people have some ideas of what material we could put in the bowls top make them a bit softer and wouldn’t get ripped apart please let us know. Of course Thep had to try them out too!
