THE BEHEADED FOWL. Have you ever gotten theprivilege of witnessing a fowl who managed to sneak out of the hands of its killer after its head had been cut of? Such fowls are very dangerous but the truth of the matter is that they are already beheaded so they need not to be afraid of. After their threats, they lie down dead because they have been beheaded already. Friends, we have a 'beheaded fowl' - an adversary. He used to be called Lucifer, but because of his wickedness he has a lot of names to depict that - the devil, satan, the dragon etc. This man appear to be fearsome. He has been threatening us throughout our lives via bad dreams, nightmare, accidents, disasters etc. However, the truth is that he has already beenconquered by Jesus Christ - the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What do you need from this defeated foe - cars, women, buildings, fame, money etc.? I want to assure you that the devil gives nothing for free- before he gives you wealth, you have to sacrifice a fellow human being. Never go to him for anything. The devil roars like a lion, but he is not a real lion; the real lion is 'the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David(Rev. 5:5) - HIs name is King Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Trust Jesus, lean on him for he is trustworthy and dependable. Just be prayerful and commityour ways into his hands and you will not care whatever the devil will do to destroy you.Why? Because you will know that you have some power which protects you; that is the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. He will be your shield and comfort day by day. God blessyou
