THE BENEFITS OF FRESH IMPARTATION The nature of Gods Kingdom is continuous progress. Its a kingdom that is by default always progressing, and not regressing. Hence, as member of the kingdom of God, you are expected to progress in ALL sphere of life here on earth being a representative of the kingdom of God. However, for this to be, we need fresh impartation, or else destiny will be stranded rather than make progress. (Ecclesiastes 9:8 KJV Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.) For any man to function in the nature of Gods kingdom, which is making progress, he needs to live a life of holiness (purity and consecration) and ensure his head does not lack oil (impartation). Its the oil of God in our life that makes our spirit energized. In other words, fresh oil recharges/rekindles our spirit at all times to meet the mandate of Gods kingdom(Gods vision) here on earth. (Psalm 92:10 KJV But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.) Its not by our power that we carry out Gods mandate (vision) here on earth; its by the power of the Spirit of the Lord at work in our lives (which is Gods oil upon our head). The oil of God on you is what makes you relevant in the kingdom of God and on earth. Living unholy lifestyle and lacking oil of the Holy Ghost on your head make you obsolete. What then are the Benefits of Fresh Impartation? It is therefore pertinent we examine the benefits of fresh oil in our lives; because knowing these benefits will cause us to know the importance. The following are some reasons we need to be filled afresh continuously with oil of impartation. 1. Fresh Impartation makes us move from Glory to Glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.) As child of God,we are expected to live from glory to glory; and this is only possible by the power of the Holy Ghost at work in us. You need fresh oil to qualify for another level of glory. A greater level of glory requires a fresh oil from God. (Psalm 92:10). Peter, one of the leading disciples of Jesus, moved from glory to glory after he received fresh oil. He moved from timidity to boldness (Acts 2:1-4/14); from walking on the sea to healing the sick (Acts 3:5-8); and then he moved to healing the sick with his shadow (Acts 5:12-15). Peter moved from one realm of glory to another being a key player in the growth of the early church by the power of the Holy Ghost (Acts 4:31-33; Acts 4:4). 2. Fresh Impartation makes us move from Grace to Grace (John 1:16 KJV And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.) (2Peter 1:2 KJV Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,). Fresh oil is what takes a man from Grace to Grace in life- it multiplies grace. Fresh oil begets fresh revelation which qualifies you for fresh grace in life. You cant have more revelation knowledge without fresh oil. Grace is unmerited favour of God. Its the power of God at work in you that causes you to effortlessly get tremendous result. And this is only possible as a result of Gods fresh oil upon you. Fresh oil enlarges the coast of Gods favour. Its the favour of God that births your having favour with men and women. Grace in life comes in different levels. Theres a higher grace from on high (Matthew 1). It is favour of God that spots you out for all men to favour you, and its what distinguishes you. (Luke 1:28 KJV And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.) You work in high favour by revelation knowledge that you live by and operate in. Its fresh oil that brings about revelation knowledge. Its advisable we appreciate Gods grace in our life; because what you appreciate does not diminish. 3. It makes us move from Faith to Faith. (Romans 1:17 KJV For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.) (II Cor. 4:13). Faith is the determining factor for progress in the kingdom of God. A christian that grows in faith continuously is one who makes steady progress in the kingdom of God. You cant make progress without absolute dependency on God (which is faith). Hence, we need the spirit of faith (fresh oil of faith) to advance (progress) in life. 4. It makes us move from Strength to Strength. (Psalm 84:7 KJV They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.) (Eph. 6:10, 3:16). We need to be strong in the Lord by the power of the might of the Holy Ghost. Its the Holy Ghost that energizes our spirit with oil of might. He strengthens your weakness, and empowers your inner-man with power of might. 5. It makes our life go brighter and brighter. (Proverbs 4:18 KJV But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day). It keeps the brightness of your life on steady progression. Fresh oil makes you have a constant new experience of Gods wonder. You will not have an outdated testimony as a result of fresh oil. (Daniel 1:10, Deut. 1:11). We keep growing in the splendor of the Holy Ghost. 6. Fresh Impartation rekindles fresh fire upon your life: (Daniel 3:19, 22, 25 KJV Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. [22] Therefore because the kings commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. [25] He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God) Fire has levels of intensity. There is a possibility of greater heat (intensity) of spiritual fire a christian can carry. For example; There is difference when you are shot an evil arrow, and it got you; but you prayed it out, from you being shot an evil arrow, and it did not get/hit you at all. As christian, you are a target of satanic arrows, hence, the need to heat up your fire to a greater velocity in order to melt the arrows of satan once they come close to you. This is only possible by fresh oil from the Holy Ghost. 7. Fresh Impartation brings about signs & wonders. (II Kings 2:13-14). Without impartation, there shall be no signs & wonders. Its the power for signs & wonders. 8. Fresh Impartation makes one have access to the realm of the spirit. (II Kings 6:17). You need impartation to have prophetic vision/insight. Without prophetic vision, you will be a carnal christian- one who walks blindly without spiritual direction. 9. It causes you to have new level and fresh glory. (Job 29:20 KJV My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.). New happenings comes to those who receive fresh oil continuously from above. Their experience becomes full of new things. They experience God anew daily- no old glory. 10. It makes you flourish and be fruitful. (Psalm 92:14 KJV They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;) 11. Fresh Impartation makes you subdue enemies. (Psalm 66:3 KJV Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.) (Deut. 2:25). When fresh oil is upon you, you become dreadful to the enemy. All these and more are what fresh Impartation from the Holy Spirit can cause us to experience.
