THE BIBLE (GODS MIND) Forwho can knw the lords thoughts? who knows enough to teach him? but we understand these things,for we have the mind of christ (1corinthians 2:16) Gods word(the bible) is Gods thoughts,The challenge is to recognise Gods thoughts and obey them.This takes practice(reading the word) in this way we can sometimes decide very quickly what has come from God and what has not as a result of understanding what his thoughts towards us are basing on the scriptures in his word.Many of us are busy waiting for a physical sign from God forgetting that they are in bible,we seek understanding the bible for the same reason an avid reader seeks to understand his favourite authors books,the bible reveals to us who God is and what he thinks of us. for example,i personally,my favourite author is John Grisham,i know he loves law but how did i get to know?through reading his books and what he writes about,in the same way we can know who God is and what he thinks of us through reading his book(bible)
