THE BIBLE IS A GOOD BOOK, but GOD is BIGGER than that... We like to limit things we dont understand instead of asking. Some will carry their limitations to boxing GOD into a book. People will hold on to what makes sense, but in a sense, believing in GOD, does not make sense, it requires uncommon sense... Did the disciples study their bible everyday? Did Paul read it at least for one hour a day? Did Paul even know that his letters would ever be considered Holy? What inspired Paul? What made the disciples so powerful, able to heal even with their shadows? It was not the bible, it was GOD. The bible gives us snippets of who GOD is, helps us to see HIM in the past, relate with HIM in our present, (using what weve seen HIM do) and we walk with HIM into our future (using the GIFT, the HOLY SPIRIT). JESUS did not say I will send you a bible much like myself...what is valid is the bible helps us have an idea, the HOLY SPIRIT helps us have a relationship My stance is, GOD is more than 66 books and even more than the missing apocrypha. Unfortunately, not knowing HIM directly is one of the reasons we have warped doctrines in the church today, some of which have been lost in translation. There is the Word of GOD and there is the HEART of GOD, sometimes they are not necessarily how we read them, the HEART has to be felt...≈KDL®™©2014
