THE BLOOD OF JESUS! The blood of Jesus Christ has great power! There is perhaps not a phrase in the Bible that is so full of secret truths as the BLOOD of Jesus! It was REVEALED in the book of Hebrews: He entered once for all into the Holy Place, taking... his own BLOOD, thus securing an eternal redemption... (See Hebrews 9: 12 RSV) Friends, it is the secret of his incarnation, when Jesus TOOK our flesh and blood... it is the secret of his obedience unto death, when he GAVE his life at the cross of Calvary... it is the secret of his love that went beyond all understanding when he BOUGHT us with his blood... it is the secret against the enemy... and it is the secret of our ETERNAL salvation! Lord, help us that we may more fully understand the VALUE of your blood. It is hidden from our natural minds, please REVEAL it to our spirits. Amen!
