THE BREAD OF LIFE There are times when we who are appointed to teach and preach give out "stale bread". Stale bread is that bread that was supposed to be eaten several days ago but has EXPIRED. We must always seek fresh manna.Fresh manna is offered daily by The BREAD OF LIFE...When Israel was in the wilderness they were commanded to take what was given to them from heaven for them for that day.But some disobeyed and discovered maggots in the manna.... We must abide in HIM; THE BREAD OF LIFE; when we abide in HIM and HE abides in us we will produce much fruit, when we cease to abide in HIM, become BUSY, become PROUD become IMPORTANT, become LAZY, become COMFORTABLE with stale manna, we produce stale manna, borrowed manna, irrelevant manna, and we begin to feed ourselves with unhealthy diets, and proclaim "Long ago God used to visit us with signs and wonders, but now????" We must never descend to the level of the Pharisees...they were the appointed priests of their day, but Jesus referred to them as "Blind guides", they never knew the "Hour of their visitation!", they never recognized the "WORD" in their midst and so in AD 70 at the destruction of Jerusalem, the order of the Pharisee disappeared from the face of the earth. Israel was commanded to consecrate themselves, God would speak to them. They did it for 3 days, and on the third Day HE descended from the mount through flashes of lightening and fire and spoke to them the "ten commandments". They received the words with trembling... Jesus said "My sheep recognize my voice and follow me" The written word is the bread the spoken word is His voice, we must know how to recognize the fresh manna....stale manna has maggots in it!!!! seek that which is fresh, hot out of the MASTERS HEART.. SELAH
