THE CHELSEA WEEK The first team don’t have a midweek match for the first time – excluding international breaks –since August, with the Blues next back in action on Saturday afternoon against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge, kick-off 4pm Nigerian time. Jose Mourinho will be speaking to the media to preview that game on Friday, and you’ll be able to follow what he says as well as the match itself on this page. Before then our Under-21 team return to action, playing away to Manchester City on Thursday evening at Hyde FC. Kick-off for that game is 8.45pm.
