THE CHICKEN JUST SHOWED UP! She just walked out into the kitchen, safe and sound. All her wounds are healed and she is in good weight and hydration, so she is back out in the henyard now. I think she had to have been hiding in the mud room all day and venturing out at night to drink from the critter waterer and forage for kibble or ?? each night. She never left any down or poo to show she was still in the house. She never made a peep, so the cats and dogs never raised any alarm. But then again they are used to occasional hens in the house, so maybe they knew and didnt think to tell me.
