THE COMMUNIQUE FOR NANS JCC PRE COVENTION HELD AT COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, IJERO DATED FRIDAY 4TH JULY, 2014. The pre-convention of National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Committee Ekiti Axis Started at Exactly 1:30 pm. Opening prayer by com. Akinylola Oluwaseyi where in attendance are the sug presidents, Students and Stakeholders. At the pre-convention exercise, the NANS JCC Chairman Com. Damilare Bewaji welcomed all the senators and students present at the convention. Matters Arising - The entire senators across all the institutions condemned and dissociate themselves from the sinister plot that seems to disparage the entire students movement in the state. At the ongoing, the vice-president of Ekiti State University in person of Com. Agbetuyi Omotayo moved a motion for NANS JCC convention to hold and ensued in EKSU on friday 11th july, 2014 so as to usher in the new executives to pilot the affairs of NANS JCC in Ekiti State and seconded by com. Akinyilola Oluwaseyi, president college of Education, Ikere Ekiti. In lieu of this, we oblige Nigerian Student to be at peace in their various campuses. Continuously, base on our agitations and students interest which we have sworn to, the entire students of Ekiti under the leadership of com. Damilare Bewaji, NANS JCC chairman condemned and expressed our dissatisfaction in strong terms the ASUP/COESU strike and abducted Chibok girls. We the students of Ekiti State hereby call on Federal Government to find a lasting solution to the present Education black out and insurgency within the comity of the nation. Closing prayer was said by senator representing Federal University of Oye in person of Com. Fati Oluwafemi. Attached is the attendance of the senators present at the pre-convention. Dare to struggle!
