THE CROCODILE TEARS OF THE OPPOSITION PARTIES DURING ELECTIÖNS IN NIGERIA It is common place in Nigeria to hear cries of irregularities during elections, these opposition parties makes it seems INEC shortcomings is entirely the machination of the ruling party to secure victory for their party. This tendency has become so addictive that even in states where opposition party secure their mandate at the Court of Appeal they still try to cover their underground conspiracy to maintain this Court of Appeal mandate for a second term. They would start crying foul from the very day they flag up their campaigns... As was the case in Edo State where the Ex-Labour General turned Governor cried foul even at the point of casting his vote. The amazing part of the devilish scheme of rigging is that immediately their evil scheme works they would shamelessly endorse INEC result declaring them as winners calling it a victory for Democracy. My problem with this ugly trends in politics is that, it makes it difficult to ascertain the exact causes and culprits of electoral irregularities, this false alarm also lead to security breaches as security operatives would be mobilized to percieved trouble spots while where the actual crime will be perpetrated would lack the required personnel to contain such electoral breaches. I thought this evil trends would be curtailed, if not stopped as hitherto tribal,regional and sectional opposition parties most of whom were notorious for violence merged to form APC... rather these merged opposition parties has brought their experiences to bear in Anambra. Report has it that in Anambra all manners of people are ön ground to do their masters biddings... It is also reported that öne Lai Mohammed of APC is crying from Lagos that APC would reject the election result in Anambra unless...if APC is declared winner. It is also reported that APC cöntrolled states has exported thugs to Anambra state some of them masquerading as observers, reporters... etc, it is interesting to know that they have invented another dimension to this madness. APC now send elite thugs...it was reported that El-Rufai former FCT Minister is in Anambra to divert the attentions of men of the intelligence corps in the state so that the party grand conspiracy would succeed. Other political parties taking part in the Anambra Guber poll should be mindful of APC! and the Ngige syndrome if care is not taken Ngige would spring surprises with the rescheduled election going on today, Ngige did it before against Dora in their Senatorial race... Watch out if not all the APC imported thugs would become voters today in Idemili local government area. Democracy is the best option! Opposition parties learn to play the game according to the rules!!! Stop this crocodile tears...
