THE CRY OF THE BIRD DOES TALK OF ITS SIZE. Oloburo is a kind - TopicsExpress

THE CRY OF THE BIRD DOES TALK OF ITS SIZE. Oloburo is a kind of Bird with loudest cry in the bush. Whenever it cries, people think its a very big bird whereas its one of the ordinary sized bird with a gift of Voice. Aye gbo kike oloburo won se bi eye nla ni is the maxim of Yoruba description of the antithesis. Take a look at Kowe for instance on the contrary. In Yoruba tradition, Kowe is a kind of bird that seldomly cry and when it cries a message is duly passed without remedy. Ero Sese sese kooweee is a yoruba parlance to appease the Bird messages. These of course are the same scenario in the political circle, those who made the greatest noise during campaign turns to be something else when the final decisions are made and eventually when they get to the office. When kowe sounds in the political realm that is the final decision and you may call it symptoms of godfatherism which truly it is. It produces the equilibrium and the stage is finally set. As at today as you can see , the Oloburos are on the field crying loud as usual while the Kowes are still busy gathering fruits and laying eggs in their nests. Can we then say that the current cries of Oloburos are meant for the attention of the kowes whose eagle eyes follows them all about. Hopefully between march and June next year the political kowes will begin to hatch their eggs to produce messages that will decide what will eventually happen on the political field ahead of 2015. This is one brand of democracy in my Country Nigeria that had been counter productive in our system. The Kowes decide and we affirm. This just from the Agidigbo drum.
