THE CXC IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ILLEGAL CARIBBEAN GOVERNMENT: I like - TopicsExpress

THE CXC IS AN EXAMPLE OF AN ILLEGAL CARIBBEAN GOVERNMENT: I like so many Caribbean people believe in a UNITED CARIBBEAN government. However, the political leadership in the Caribbean Basin continues to keep our people separated. Nonetheless, the political leadership has created QUASI-STATE agencies that I believe are illegal. The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) is chartered to set educational policies for CARICOM countries. This means that individual countries Ministry of Education in the basin are being dictated to, and are getting their marching orders from an entity outside of their borders. And the questions have begun to pile up? How is the CXC being funded? How are members selected to be on the CXC? Should someone in Barbados determine Jamaicas educational needs? But since the politicians can agree on having a centralized educational institution and on a Caribbean Court of Justice, then the questions are begging for answers? WHY IS IT WE CANNOT HAVE A CENTRAL LEGISLATURE AND A SINGLE PRESIDENT? cxc.org/
