THE Catholic community in Lami, Fiji, has organised a Flood Appeal to assist families affected by the recent floods. Donations will be received by the parish until Saturday when distribution will be made to families in Naikorokoro, Wainawa, Togalevu, Nasevou 2, Nakoba and all of Qauia. The parish has appealed for the spirit of alms giving, and invited parishioners to live their faith by making donations of food, clothing and other items. Some parishioners are providing shelter and assistance to families displaced by the floods.
