THE Communiqué of the meeting between the functionaries of LASUSU SPC and the V C LASU, Prof Obafunwa . 26/01/2015. At the meeting, the following issues were raised: i. Refund of school fees. On this, the vc showed all efforts that have been geared towards making sure the refund is made as soon as possible, which includes - letter to Lagos State Government dated 15th Dec 2014, text messages to Gov Fashola, SA Education, Commissioner for finance, etc. Conclusively the management has pend the payment of the school fees Because of this so as not to suffer double jeopardy and not for motive of increasing of school fees. However, he emphasized that all concerned LASUITE be patient as the refund shall be made soonest. ii. Stable calendar: While responding, assures a stable academic calendar using every peaceful means within his reach. iii. LASU DPU: he said that the issue erupted as a result of traffic on the web server. but assures that the students will have access to their profile, as the complaints are on the desk of ICT Experts. iv. Electioneering: While responding to this said the management is deliberating on it. He however noted that its never to exterminate the Union Our Advise: we hereby advise all lasuite to go on with the normal academic activities and ignore all forms of destabilizing the university academic calendar.
