THE DAILY CUP - 10/16/2014 Gloriadios! I am so thrilled with what God is doing in our NWTX Conference through Hispanic Ministry. Just this year we have brought into our Conference several pastors who were a part of a great outpouring of Gods Spirit on communist Cuba during the 1980s. At that time the Methodist Church in Cuba was literally dying on the vine. But then Revival came! Now the Methodist Churches are filled with young people on fire for God! I am convinced that the only thing that will really save the United Methodist Church is REVIVAL. Its not good Theology, as important as that is. Its not sound Biblical Teaching, as crucial as that is. But a true outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the lives of people in Word AND power (See I Thessalonians 1:5) and in full conviction of Sin AND of Grace. This last - a conviction of Grace - is just as important as a Conviction of Sin. I hope you will join me Sunday as I talk about this very thing in a sermon entitled REVIVAL GODS WAY.
