THE DAYS ARE GETTING LONGER AGAIN :) Even though summers in Iceland are very bright and even hard for some people to sleep during the brightest months, the long dark winters are hard for many. We in Iceland are already noticing that the days are getting longer again. It´s beginning to be a little easier to get up in the morning. Although most of us have to get to work in the dark and get home from work in the dark too-still. We are looking forward to spring and summer where we feel we almost don´t have to sleep at all, just travel and enjoy our beautiful countryside. For those who don´t know it the longest day in Iceland is the appr. 21st. of June, when the sun just sits on the horizon and goes up again, and the shortest day is appr. the 21st. of Des. when it´s only light for about 2-3 hours per day, and you can hardly see the sun.
