THE DEUCE OF SPADES 2014 AWARD TOUR: TALES FROM THE ROAD - Day 89 - Rubber blues, in B flat LOLOL.... First order of the day is to tend to my flat tire. Plus I discovered I have another tire on my trailer that is damaged. A chunk of rubber is missing from it. Weird. Got to hunt me down a new one, cause I am not driving to Las Vegas like that. So, on day 89, I toured the local tire companies... So much fun!! LOL. Got my flat fixed and ordered a new tire. We agreed to put both tires on at the same time, the day of my departure, to save me from having to pack up the RV and move my rig now. Why have to do it twice, when I can do it just once? When I leave, Ill have to pack up the RV and move it anyway, so Ill do that super early, drive out to the tire store, have them put the tires on and drive straight to Vegas from there. OK. So now have a plan to solve my problem. Being on the road is just that: One big plan made out of a bunch of sub-plans to solve a whole bunch of problems LOL. I throw my Mexican blanket on my Deuce seat, pull the flat tire from the under the floor compartment of my trailer, throw it inside the roadster... Mmmmm good thing I am skinny, I barely have room to shift now... But Im not going far, so its all good. It was pretty funny to see the faces of the guys at the tire store when they saw a slander chick with long dark hair pull in with a 32 roadster, and then pull this big flat tire out of it... Bet they thought they were hallucinating LOL (rubber fumes and all). On my way back I decided to swing down to the lake to check it out. Looks inviting, the water is warm and seemed clean enough... But whats on the other side of the lake? I decide that tomorrow, I shall go investigate :)...
