THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DESIRE, INTENTION AND DECISION I was - TopicsExpress

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DESIRE, INTENTION AND DECISION I was walking on the beach in Encinitas yesterday, and I made a decision. That was when I realized the difference between desire, intention and decision. Desire comes from a place of “Yes, it would be nice to have that.” There is uncertainty in desire because most desires are not True Desires. They are cravings, addictions, programming. They come from fear and lack. Intention is stronger than desire. You’re more likely to accomplish something if you intend to do it rather than just desire to do it. But it can still be influenced by desire. Decision is the most powerful of them all. For example, on the beach yesterday, I made the following decision: “I like this town. I am going to live here.” There was no uncertainty there. It was a decision, plain and simple. It came from a place of deep inner knowing that is aligned with Universal Flow and the larger framework of my life. In fact, it’s more than just a decision. It’s a fact. I decided to define it even further. So, I asked myself: “When will I live in Encinitas? Is it some day or do I have a specific date?” And the answer came to me: “I am going to live in Encinitas in January.” Yup. That’s a fact.
