THE DIFFERENCE IS ATTITUDE. (A message for Young Africans) Mr & Mrs Abeiku Okai Inspirations (Abeiku Okai Ministries Int) Whatsap: +233 0249287855 facebook/Inspiration.abeiku facebook/Inspirational.mrsokai As young Africans, about to take up leadership and management of our various countries and the African Continent as a whole, we need to be very concerned about the many challenges we were born into. In fact, no matter how we look at it, we can never continue shifting blame as far as our situation is concerned. What we need is change, not complains. Ola Rotimi rightly titled his play, The gods are not to blame. In the tragic drama, even though King Odewale was destined by the gods to kill his own father and marry his own mother, it was purely Odewales attitude that brought the prophesy to pass. The problem with our nation and Africa as a whole is never some curse from Odomankoma or the wickedness of some gods. It is purely attitude. If we want to change our situation, we need to change our attitude, else we can never cast blames and pretend we are blameless. Government can construct and reconstruct structures and systems but if our attitude is not well constructed and reconstructed everything will end up in destruction and systems break-down. The fish starts spoiling from the head. Poor leadership is a recipe for poor societies. We are the next line of leaders for Africa and we must determine from today to provide a better alternative when our time is due. We can throw stones against the wrong we see today but if we do not learn to offer the right attitude the stone we throw will wait for us to land tomorrow. The self-centredness and greed that characterise our society must be stopped, starting from us. If we can think Africa first, the rest will fall in better alignment. If we can share fairly our continent will rest freely. And our nations will grow truly. We say Africa is corrupt. Abeiku Okai is not saying this? It is true; our attitude is not correct. Lets change it as young people and heal the cancer that is decaying our future. The difference between two societies is not physical constructions but attitudinal correctness. Africa is waiting to celebrate you tomorrow so liberate Africa today. Share around Africa.
