THE DOUBTING OF THE ADOPTION OF CHIBOK GIRLL AND THE FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBERS. BY Kelly Iyora. It may sound African, but this is mostly the case; There is an atom of truth in any rumor; ... It is instructive at this point to note that the sheer disbelief expressed by some citizens of this nation, on the fact that the deadly Insurgent group had adopted some female students in Chibok marked the genesis of female suicide bombers in Nigeria. Some individual who use to be on the wanted list of the State security service(DSS), who was always engaging in the act of sabotaging government installations in the past, came up with an intelligence reportage, alluding to the fact that it is the enemy of this current Government that are responsible in spreading false rumor of the adoption of the chibok school girls; this made the presidency and other various governmental agencies that were entrusted with the task of securing lives and properties in this nation to feel reluctant and instead of swinging into action, they took eighteen days before preliminary rescue actions were taken by theses state apparatus. We all know that it yielded the result of just press conference and legislative innuendos. In a bid to cow the minds of the critical thinking class, due to the huge publicity and prominence the international media community had placed on the Adopted school Girls, the Political class, once again cried foul to the international community for help, however, it is pertinent to state that these same individuals that wanted the help of the international community, mounted a whole lot of restriction on this international rescue operation by saying, they needed only surveillance and intelligence, a situation that made the UN-AFRICOM Commander to emphasize in his speech on a security conference held in Ghana, that the security challenges in Nigeria could be surmounted only if the various parties to the conflict and the various governmental agencies involved would harmonize their interest, this would neutralize the situation. Deducing from his argument, the situation could have been easily solved if there was no competition between these actors, with regard to who takes the glory when everything returns to status-quo, putting into consideration 2015. inspite of the vested interest in the who becomes who in 2015; personally, I believe if these set of individuals; I mean both the incumbent and the opposition are unable to bring things to status-quo in the time being, then they are bunch of shenanigans and belly politicians who are unable to play the role of leaders. Comparatively, Israel was in a similar situation in the 1970s, the popular Entebe Hijack, political Actors in Israel sheathed their sword of differences and within few days, Israels special forces swung into action, all the hostages held at the entebes airport in Uganda by the Palestine Liberation Organization(PLO) were rescued by these Israelis special forces in far away Uganda and flown back to Israel. This episode is enough to show how committed the Israelis leaders are to the israelis people and this in turn would enforce patriotism on the part of Israelis. However, the Nigeria episode is the other way round, as this innocent, delicate and courageous girls have for the past one hundred days been used as pawns on the nigeria politics chess-board; under the influence and tutelage of those precarious and treacherous beings called Boko-Haram. And the riverberating effect on todays Nigeria is the proliferation of female suicide bombers in the country.
