THE DRIVERS ON EARTH And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. Mark 1:12 There are two main powers: God and Satan. For whatever you do, either of these is driving you. The Holy Ghost drove Jesus. The devil drove the mad man. In Luke 8:29, we see that the driving of Satan are for oppression and bondage. Sometimes it appears that those being driven by the enemy have an upper hand. It appears that they are doing better off but in reality they are in bondage and sooner or later that truth will dawn on them. When the Holy Ghost drives a man, He drives him to promotion, victory and enlargement. Jesus got victory over the devil in the temptations and we are the beneficiaries of the conquest. Today, do not allow the enemy to drive you. Anger, fear, hatred, unforgiveness, wrong words, evil thoughts etc are all the gears in the engine of satanic manipulations. An armed robber was once asked why he was doing what he did. The reply he gave the lady he was robbing is worthy of note: He asked her to shut up and told her that he did not like what he was doing. You see, a force greater than him was driving him to rob and kill. The sinners are being driven by Satan. Beware of this and deal prayerfully with those that hurt you. When you curse a man that is being driven by Satan, you have only taken the last leg in the race of his destruction. Hold on to God and prayerfully put a roadblock in the way of the enemy.
