THE DWARFS BETTER GET THIS STRAIGHT:MARANDA HIGH SCHOOL RESULTS DWARFS ALLIANCE AND THE REST OF THEM RANKED SCHOOLS. Maranda school failed to be ranked this year over ‘exam irregularities by some 23 students. However, the results posted by the school which registered the highest number of students to sit the national examinations last year is still benevolent enough for the parents, teachers, sponsors and students of the school to be joyous about. Look at the scores: Grade A Plain : 136 students Grade A- : 153 students Grade B+ : 76 students Grade B Plain : 23 students Grade B- : 5 students Grade C+ : 2 students Grade Y: 23 students (irregularities) With 426 students, Maranda School registered to KCSE almost twice as the number of students as the top 10 schools ranked in the exams. Alliance, the leading school, had 276 students. Maseno School, the other national school placed at the fifth position, enrolled 237 students for the same examinations. Other schools which registered massive number of students include Kisii School (323 students), Kanga High School (295 students), Nairobi School (283 students) Chavakali High School (287 students) and Friends School Kamusinga (284 students). All the above schools are in the national category of secondary schools.
