THE ELIJAH MESSAGE MALACHI 4:5&6: Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6- And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. (We see here, that before the great and dreadful day of the LORD, God has promised that he will send Elijah the prophet). Let us turn to: MATTHEW 17:10-13: And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11- And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12- But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13- Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. (Please notice verse 11: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Notice: shall first come = future. Notice also verse 12: But I say unto you, That Elias is come already,… This refers to the time in which they were living. Please notice: is come = present tense. Verse 13 says: Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist. From the above scriptures it appears that before Jesus returns he will send Elijah the prophet. It also appears that John the Baptist was Elijah. Let us study further into God’s Word for a better understanding of this subject. JOHN 1:19-23: And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20- And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21- And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. 22- Then said they unto him, Who art thou? That we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? 23- He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. (We notice here in verse 21, that John said, he was not Elias. Although the disciples understood it to be John the Baptist, this looks like an apparent contradiction, but is not. Notice that John himself said that he was not Elias. But what did he say? Let us now go back to verse 23: He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. What this verse is telling us, is that John the Baptist had the same message, spirit, and power of Elijah, as said the prophet Esaias. (See Isaiah 40:3). ). Let us go to: MATTHEW 11:13&14: 13- For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14- And if ye will receive it , this is Elias, which was for to come. LUKE 1:17: And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. (Notice: same spirit, and power). Let us go to: ZEPHANIAH 1:14-18: The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15- That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16- A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. 17- And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. 18- Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. (We notice in verse 14: The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,…) MATTHEW 17:11: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. (Notice: Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things). We see that John the Baptist was not Elijah, but he had the same message, spirit and power as Elijah had. Seeing that the day of the LORD is at hand, there should be a people with the Elijah message, same spirit, power and message as Elijah. Let us see what was Elijah’s message. 1 KINGS 16:30: And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. (Example of the Baal worship in the temple in time of King Josiah, at the cleansing of the temple.) 2 KINGS 23:4&5: And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel. 5- And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven. (We notice here that Baal worship is the worship of the sun, moon, planets and all the host of heaven). 2 KINGS 17:16: And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two claves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. (We notice here that as soon as they left off all the commandments of the LORD their God, they worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal – sun, moon, stars, and planets). 2 KINGS 17:13: Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets. (Do not forget, we are looking for the Elijah message. Here we see Elijah confronting Ahab). 1 KINGS 17: 1-6: And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2- And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3- Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4- And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5- So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6- And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. 1 KINGS 18: 2,17,18: And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria. 17- And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? 18- And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim. (We notice in verse 17, that Ahab accuses Elijah as troubling Israel. But contrary to this, we see that Ahab and his father’s house had the problem, they had forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and followed Baalim. We see that the king and his father’s house had troubled Israel and caused them to forsake the ten commandments of the LORD and to follow Baalim). 19- Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table. 22- Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. (We see that the Elijah message is calling God’s people back to the commandments of God, and to the leaving off of the false worship system: sun, moon, stars, planets and all the host of heaven). ACTS 3:19-21: Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20- And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21- Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. (We notice here in verse 21 that Jesus will not come until the restitution of all things. Notice: If Satan can stop the restitution of all things, then he can stop Jesus from coming. If we are hampering or stopping the restitution of all things, we are stopping Jesus from coming, and if we are stopping Jesus from coming, then we are working for Satan). (What is the restitution of all things ?) JOEL 2:30-32: And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31- The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. 32- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. REVELATION 18:2&4: And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 4- And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (The Seventh-day Adventist Church is not Babylon. But God is calling his people out of Babylon. When we as individuals are sympathetic to the Roman Catholic Church and her wine-false doctrines, God is calling us out of Babylon, not out of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. But as individuals out of harmonizing and sympathizing with her-The Roman Catholic Church). ISAIAH 59:19: So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. (The enemy has indeed come in like a flood, and sad to say, a flood when it comes in, takes virtually everything with it. But we need not go with the flood-with the stream. If we are building on the sand and not on the rock-Jesus Christ, the Word, the Truth, we will be swept away. Let us see what the Word condemns.) (Egypt and Babylon is the flood in accordance to Scripture = Jeremiah 46:8 and Jeremiah 47:2 Egypt is representative of worldly wants and Babylon is representative of false doctrine / wine. ) DEUTERONOMY 12:30,31: Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise. 31- Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. (In the past, the Sunday churches have even burnt their sons and daughters in the fire - human sacrifices. Today even, when we follow after them and our sons and daughters follow our example, then we are virtually burning our sons and daughters in the fire - to come. Let us examine some of the heathen signs and symbols, and see if we can notice some which have come in with the flood-with the tares). Now originally if we go back into the scriptures, just briefly after the flood, Nimrod rebelled against the God of heaven, and he said he is not going to worship a God he cannot see, he is going to worship a god that he can see. They built the city of Babylon and the Tower of Babel. Babel=Babylon. And he set up sun worship there. Hulle het die son aanbid op Sondag, en hulle het die maan aanbid op Maandag. – They worshipped the sun on Sunday and worshipped the moon on Monday – moon day, and now friends, we all know that the sun is a fire, and that fire worship is Devil worship. Friends, have you ever heard them say, ‘Hierdie man sny sy gras op die heilige Sondag’? Ja, op die heilige Sondag, die heilige SON-DAG. Die heilige dag van die SON. Dit is nie die heilige dag van God nie. ‘This man is cutting his grass on the holy Sunday’? Yes, on the holy Sunday, the holy SUN-DAY. The holy day of the SUN in the sky. It is not the holy day of God. Yes friends, Satan has the whole world worshipping on his day, and the Bible says that Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city Babylon. Now a brief look at Babylon. Babylon in history was, and we can go back to the scriptures for all these things. Babylon was overthrown by the Medes and the Persians, the high priests of Babylon fled to Pergamos. You see, Satan’s headquarters was in Babylon. But Satan moved his headquarters to Pergamos. The same sun worshipping priests that were in Babylon when Babylon was overthrown by the Medes and the Persians, fled to Pergamos. Now it is wonderful how our Heavenly Father knows everything. In Rev. 2:12 we read: And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; 13- I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful Martyr who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. (Yes friends, you see, Satan moved his seat, his throne, his false religion to Pergamos. And our Heavenly Father says: I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is:…. Known in history later on Pergamos was overthrown by the Romans. Those same high priests that were in Pergamos, or shall I not say exactly the same high priests, but in history generally speaking, the same system of religion which was formed in Babylon, which moved to Pergamos, moved to Rome when Pergamos was overthrown by the Romans. Yes friends, that religion is still in Rome, it’s the Roman religion). Now let us go to: Rev 14:8: And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. (She and her. SHE made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of HER fornication. In the scriptures our Heavenly Father refers to HIS church as a beautiful and comely woman. But there is also another woman, which is called the mother of harlots. Yes friends, a woman is a church, and when it talks of SHE made, it is referring to a woman, a church, all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, her again is a woman. So this church is Babylon, this mother of harlots, which is sitting in Rome has made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Now, wine, it is something fermented, like the Bible says: MATTHEW 16:12: Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisses and of the Sadducees. GALATIANS 5:9: A little leaven leaventh the whole lump. – Now, the false doctrine of Rome. All the nations are holding fast to this doctrine-leaven of the Roman Catholic Church, which is nothing but sun worship). Now we’ll take another one or two points, for example: CHRISTMAS: The 25th of December? They say that it is the birth of our LORD, but the Bible very clearly says that when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, the shepherds were sitting and watching their sheep at night. Now if we go back and have a look, in December it snows in old Jerusalem, and Bethlehem. You know friends, I don’t know very much about farming, but as far as I know, no shepherd will have his sheep out in the snow. Well, the 25th of December is not the birthday of our dear LORD JESUS, and you see, in the Northern hemisphere, don’t forget, they were worshipping the sun. Don’t forget this was in the Northern hemisphere, and towards the 24th of December the days started getting shorter, and they were worshipping the sun, and they said, ‘Oh, our god is dying, because the days are getting shorter,’ But after the 24th of December, the days start getting longer, and it was finally fixed that the 25th of December, they called it Christmas, the very word explains itself, CHRIST-MASS, in Afrikaans KERSFEES, die fees van die kerse. (The feast of the candles). We all know that fire worship is Devil worship in that church. Now, if we go back to Babylon, they were worshipping the sun, and Nimrod’s wife Simirymus was expecting an illegitimate child, and she was only a commoner, she had no royalty in her to secure her position in the church in Babylon. She was expecting this illegitimate child, and she said, ‘This child, this boy, this son, he is Tammuz, Tammuz the sun god.’ - See attached pamphlet called HEATHEN SIGNS AND SYMBOLS drawing no:12 : Simirymus and her son Tammuz. – now called Mary and her son Jesus. And Nimrod is now up there in the sun. Nevertheless, the 25th of December, when the heathen came into the church, they said, ‘No man, you know we can’t join with you people, and we know that the Bible says, after the death of our LORD, men will strive for position.’ And they said, ‘Man, if we can get these people in, you know there’s a lot of heathen, and if we can get them into the church, we will make a good business, because you know, there’s a lot of them.’ So, they lowered the standard of Christianity, and they said, ‘Well, we can’t come and worship with you people, because our god has a birthday.’ They said, ‘That’s all right, we won’t call it the birthday of the sun in the sky, we’ll call it the birthday of the Son of God.’ Also as things happened, there are many, many things that have been handed down from Pagainsim and they have tagged on Christian names to make it plausible to the heathen. We read here in EZEKIEL 8:12: Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth. (God refers to His Church as Israel, He refers to His Church as His holy mountain, Mount Zion, beautiful and comely woman, daughter of Zion, and so when you see Israel, I’m sure you will understand that God is referring to His people. You will notice that the verse, which we have just read, is referring to now. Every man in the chambers of his own imagery – in otherwords in their own mind. For they say, the Lord seeth not, the Lord hath forsaken the earth. THAT’S NOW FRIENDS). 13- He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do. 14- Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. – this verse says = Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’S house which was toward the north; and behold, there sat women (women are churches again) weeping for Tammuz. As we go on we read: 15- Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these. – Our Heavenly Father says: turn around again, I want to show you something even worse that they do. 16- And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, … (Friends between the PORCH AND THE ALTAR. What is between the porch and the altar? The porch is where you come in, and the altar is where they preach from. Yes friends, right in the congregation). Let us continue reading in verse 16: were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east. (Yes, friends, in the house of the LORD, they worship the sun toward the east. Now these are things that are done through deception. Satan would never put his name upon a church. I think everybody would run away, but when he decides to join them and preach the Word of God, which he does), because the Word of God clearly says in 2 Cor. 11:13&14: For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostle of Christ. 14- And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15- Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (So we see here, that Satan’s ministers are preaching righteousness, and where would you expect to find ministers preaching? Obviously behind a pulpit). Let us go back to ISAIAH 14:12: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Now, it says here, how art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, I do not know if your Bible has a reference column, there is a number 7 there, and in the reference column it says, or O Day Star. Now what is the Day Star? I know many people say that the Day Star is Venus, but friends, Venus is not a star. A star has it’s own light. Venus is a planet; it reflects the light of the sun. So which is the Day Star? If you go out in the day and you look up, what star do you see? Yes the sun is a star, planets are planets and stars are stars. The sun is a star. Well verse 12 says: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,…. In otherwords, O Day Star. You see, Satan set his worship up as sun worship). Verse 13 says: For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14- I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Yes friends, Satan said he would be like the most High. If he is going to be like the most High, God has a day, then he will have a day, God has a Church, then he will have a church. (See Rev 2:9:…which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan). Worse still, he said he will sit in the mount of the congregation. In otherwords he will sit in God’s Holy Mountain, (God’s Church). If you remember, the false worshipping system which is sun, moon, stars, and all host of heaven moved from Babylon to Pergamos, and from Pergamos it moved to Rome, but he (Satan) said in his heart (mind) and God knows the thoughts…: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,…. He is not satisfied moving his headquarters to Rome, he said…: I will sit in the mount of the congregation,…. The mount of the congregation is God’s Church (The Seventh-day Adventist Church). DANIEL 11:45: And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. ( plant = to place and allow to grow) (seas = nations, kindred, tongues and people) (tabernacles = human body, person.) (glorious holy mountain = God’s church, those that keep the commandments and have the testimony of Jesus, professing Adventist churches). Let us continue and see the results of the enemy coming into God’s glorious holy mountain ( Adventist church) as a flood. Some folks may think that the cross only came into existence at the crucifixion of Jesus. The cross was a heathen symbol of sun-worship long before the birth of our LORD, up until recently it was an accepted norm that people were hung on gallows, but in those days it was normal to hang people on a cross, even the two men either side of Jesus were hung on crosses. The original scriptures had no capital letters, full stops, or commas, etc. The T for Tammuz was written in a form of a cross. (the small letter t without a curl at the bottom) What the folks think is the cross today, is in actual fact the T for Tammuz the son god. Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus ask us to make crosses or to hang them around our necks, or to bring these heathen symbols into his house of prayer in remembrance of him, but he did instruct us in: 1 COR. 11:25: After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. Please turn to drawing no:2 of the attatched pamphlet. There you will notice the T for Tammuz and the sun-hole(the round hole in the middle). These you find on the graves normally made out of concrete. We go to drawing no:8 which is the maltese cross. Here we have the sun in the center radiating outwardly, terminating in eight points. Eight is a symbol of the sun day. Ever since pseudo-Barnabus proclaimed it so less than fifty years after the Bible was completed: he said we should keep holy the eighth day, not the seventh. If you will remember in ISAIAH 14:14: Satan said: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Please turn to drawing no:5. I do not know whether you have noticed this sign or symbol quite frequently found hanging over the pulpits. The background of the material is often blue or maroon. The embroidery around the sides or edges are silver or gold, often having tassels at the bottom. When enquiring about the meaning of I H S, some say: ‘in his steps’ others say: ‘in his spirit’, while others say: ‘I have suffered’. Bearing in mind that Satan said: I will be like the most High, what he is actually saying, is, that being like God, what God has, he will have. The Bible says that the trinity consists of: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. It is very interesting to notice that the trinity of sun worship is: Isis, Horus and Seb. (I H S). It would also be very interesting to notice that above in the middle of the H is the T FOR Tammuz the sun god. Let us turn to: JER. 10:1-5: HEAR ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2- Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3- For the 1customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. ( 1statutes or ordinances are vanity). 4- They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5- They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be born, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. (Notice verse 2 says that the heathen are dismayed at the signs of heaven). Let us see what are the signs of heaven that the heathen are dismayed at. We go to: GEN. 1:14-16: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15- And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16- And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (We notice here it is referring to the sun, moon, and stars). Verse 14 tells us: ;…and let them be for signs,…. So, the heathen are dismayed at the sun, moon, and stars – the signs of heaven. Please notice verses 3-5. Have you ever noticed people going into the forest and cutting a tree out with an axe? They always decorate it with silver and with gold, they are upright as the palm tree. Have you ever noticed that tree? They often put a star on top of the tree. Incidentally a star is a sun, and gives it’s own light. – It could well be the sun on top of the tree or a star. Please go to drawing no: 7. Yes friends the Christmas tree. Do not forget, God asks us not to learn the way of the heathen. See in verse 2 of Jeremiah 10. Please notice in drawings no: 9&10. These are windows sometimes found on Sunday churches, normally no: 10 is found on the front of the church and no: 9 is used for the small windows down the sides of the church – the rising sun. Not the rising Son out of the grave, the rising sun out of the East. SUN day. There too you will notice the sun and the sun rays, similar to that of drawing no: 12. The haloes around their heads. Certain dictionaries refer to halo as ring around sun or moon. Notice the comparisons of drawing no: 12 with drawings no: 9&10. JER. 7:17-19: Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18- The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 19- Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? (We notice here that they were making cakes to the queen of heaven. Friends, have you perhaps heard who is the queen of heaven. You may have heard them say when the moon comes out from behind the cloud. ‘Oh there goes the old queen of heaven.’ Yes friends, Tammuz was the sun god and Ishta was the moon goddess-the goddess of fertility. Yes friends they still bake these cakes to the queen of heaven. Please see drawing no: 3 They place the T for Tammuz in the middle of them, and they are called HOT CROSS BUNS. Ever seen them? This they did hundreds of years before Jesus was born. Have you ever wondered what Easter eggs and rabbits have to do with the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus? You see friends if it was like your birthday, it would always fall on the same date but very unlikely the same day. But it is always called Good Friday, and is not the same date, but always the same day. This too works with the moon. It works with the first Sunday after the full moon. The eggs and rabbits and chickens are all a symbol of fertility, hence the manner in which they breed. God is warning us to leave off the things of Babylon, to come out of her, and he will receive us. Please notice the egg and rabbit in drawing no: 13. Let us turn to: ISAIAH 3: 16-26: We notice in verse 21: The rings, and nose jewels, Please notice drawing no: 14. These gold rings are symbols of the halo, or ring around the sun or moon as mentioned in popular dictionaries. Have you noticed a popular quotation used at weddings: ‘With this ring I thee wed’? There is no scripture whatsoever to support this statement in God’s holy Word. This ring is also of heathen origin. Where in God’s Word have you noticed about the cock that crowed? Let us turn to: MATTHEW 26:34: Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Please let us go to drawings no: 4&16. You will notice there the cock on top of the steeple, the symbol of those Satan says denies Christ. Under his feet you will notice a round ball, the symbol of the sun, and under the round ball the tapering steeple, the symbol of the sun rays. Drawing no: 16 shows the sun hole above the door, and this is an example of a church where people worship on SUNDAY – the day of the sun, not SON, the Son of God. Drawing no: 6 is also a symbol of the sun rays. You will also notice that in drawing no: 1 there is the obelisk, which is also used in sun worship. Drawing no: 18 is a sign/symbol that is found on top of the Muslim church. Notice: the star, the moon and the sun rays below. Please notice DEUT. 4:19: And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. When you study the Word of God you will see that eyesalve is the holy Spirit that God asks us to obtain from him that we might see. – without the holy Spirit we cannot see (spiritually). See drawing no: 17. Let us turn to: REV. 3:18: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. We notice here in verse 18, that God asks us to anoint our eyes with eyesalve that we may see. Eyesalve = Holy Spirit that we may see. Notice: The Father does not say we must anoint our eyes with a dove or a pigeon. Drawing no: 17 again is a heathen symbol supposed to be the Holy Spirit. MATTHEW 5:16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Jesus asks us to let our light so shine, the good works that he has blessed us with. Have you ever noticed what people do from the physical or carnal side, not the spiritual side. Have you seen what happens when people take this literally. ISAIAH 50:11: Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow. (Notice: the Bible says they walk in the light of their fire, and in the sparks that they have kindled). Please see drawing no:15. They actually light these candles literally and they put a substance into it that makes it spark and they literally walk in the light and the sparks that they have kindled. Incidentally fire worship is devil worship. And SUN day is the day of the sun, the day of the fire. It is very interesting to notice that Jesus said in: MATTHEW 25:32-34: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33- And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34- Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (We notice here that the sheep are going to be separated from the goats, and the goats have the problem and not the sheep. Please notice drawings no:11. It seems surprising that goats have bells around their necks and sheep do not. I am sure you have noticed that the Sunday churches (the day of the sun churches) have bells. Unfortunately these bells are very subtly coming into God’s house in the form of hand bells. REMEMBER: DEUTERONOMY: 12:30-32: Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise. 31- Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. 32- What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. Nowhere in God’s Word does he ask us to bring these heathen signs and symbols into his house of worship!! JAMES 4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (Two main distinguishing criterion of doctrine that constitute Babylon, according to Mrs. White, is the 1) belief in immortality of the soul, and 2) Sunday worship!) (The church is allowing false doctrines to enter via the methodology of how the leaders of the church study and understand the Bible, by using Hermeneutics which is a Greek philosophical way of studying the Bible. The Catholic Church uses Catholic Hermeneutics, as well. See Colossians 2:8 and 1 Timothy 6:20, 21.Which says we are forbidden to do such to the Word of God.)(Through this methodology these false doctrines can and will be brought to the church where it does not belong.)
