THE END OF AN ERA - As some of you may know I have American Bulldogs by the name of Oscar & Ginger. These two have absolutely changed my life and many others lives in so many ways. One story that comes to mind is Oscar and I were at Lowes looking to buy a Christmas tree last year. A lady turned the corner and saw Oscar and just had to stop and talk. We talked about how her dog just died and Oscar made all the difference in the world to her. So much so that she started her own rescue because of it. This ladies name? Lorraine Horvath at Keystone Bulldog Rescue SWPA. This is just one story of so many. But I am writing this to inform everyone that I am no longer going to be offering purebred pups. That part of what I do is not my focus any longer and hasnt been for a while now. It is a lot of work and it pulls away from my two other businesses of Healing Hearts Animal Therapy International and Learning to Lead A New Breed of Dog Training which are now taking my focus. Ginger has produced her last litter. Ginger is 5 now and in being a responsible breeder I feel she has reached her time. I am getting her spayed here shortly. I have been asked, Why dont you just get another female?. Why dont you just find Ginger another home and keep doing this? Youre good at it. Even a myriad of other questions. These are my dogs that live in my home WITH me and I dont want to run a facility type kennel where the dogs are not living with me, or directly under my care and supervision. Quite honestly, I dont want more than 2 dogs in my house and again I want to focus on my other businesses that are VERY important to a lot of people and who need my help. I want to put that chapter behind me and felt it was fair to let everyone know.
