THE EQUALIZER MOVIE Okay so you all already know I AM A BIG DENZEL WASHINGTON FAN...So The Equalizer already had its props from the jump... I have to say that Denzel never ceases to amaze me and he just simply does not disappoint...I love watching him in action packed movies where his quiet mannerisms and humble nature always catches you off guard when he explodes into such an extreme killing machine...always with exact precision and with great expertise...leaving you feeling like he indeed is the master artist of his very lethal and deadly craft...this movie really provided a great platform to show off his bad ass role through awesome cinematography, heart pounding music/audio and graphics (especially the slow motion effects). I thought it was a great story line with great acting...I was especially delighted by the Jedi Mind Trick they played on you with the villain...my first response was that he appeared to be a bit too meek in appearance to be an adversary to the infamous DENZEL...but as the story unfolded there were many subliminal messages throughout that gave clues as to how twisted and sinister he truly was...the downside was that they took extra detail and time to build the villain character up...for somewhat of a let down during the final showdown...it wasnt much of a fight...as a matter fact there was NO HAND TO HAND COMBAT AT ALL...and it left me foaming at the mouth...wanting sooooo much more...I felt they robbed me of a climax moment...LOL!!! But the movie kept its cool points by skillfully incorporating so many positive messages in a film of this type...bringing home a very positive and happy ending...if I had to rate this film, from 1-10, I would give it a strong 8 and two thumbs up. I LOOOOOVED IT and it indeed was a pleasure to watch!!!
