THE FINAL MOVE OF GOD . ( the move of the disciples ) (Acts 9:10-11 ) And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. When God was going to release PAUL into the first phase of his ministry, he spake to Ananias a certain disciple in Damascus and instructed him to undertake the task . Ananias was not known up till that time, there was no mention of his name up till that time, or even thereafter . he was not one of the exalted and prominent twelve he was not an apostle , he was not a bishop or a prophet of any prominent status he was regarded merely as a certain disciple , that was all he got as his spiritual credentials . The apostles were there in Jerusalem. their miracle ministry had overshadowed the city of Jerusalem but God did not consult any one of them when he was going to release PAUL and set his foot on the path of the work of ministry , he picked a certain disciple who was practically unknown and uncelebrated . God broke the rule, here was a paradigm shift from the twelve. That was a paradigm shift from the prominent to the ordinary . From the known to the unknown, from the things that are mighty , to the things that are weak . This is the portrait of the next move of God! The unknown disciples of CHRIST whom he had raised in the closest are coming out to do exploits ! The endtime remnants are about to emerge! Are you one of them ? Ananias was an ordinary disciple yet he could laid hands and someone could receive his sight . And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized Acts 9:17-18 . as an ordinary brother in The Lord , his hands were so anointed ! One thing that was unique in their days that is not common yet with ours is that in those days , ordinary DISCIPLES could do miracles. they dont have to become an ordained apostle or great in status before they could do miracles! Even ordinary food vendors or administrators did great miracles (Acts 6:8 ) And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. There are millions of brothers and sisters in the present church whose hands are useless ! The reason for this is that we are recycling members, we are raising converts and not training disciples . Yet our primary assignment is to raise disciples and not bread seekers! My heart breaks as I travel round and I see thousands of people in every nation and cities turning out to church services every week in week out , all they do is to come and sit down and watch a superstar doing his own thing all alone in his world . Only few desire to be raised as disciples who could also be so anointed to do the work of ministry in their sphere of influence while on their jobs or career . Imagine having a certain disciple in your church like Ananias who does not seek prominence and does not have to break away to start a church yet his hands are so anointed that he could open blind eyes through laying of hands ? Imagine having a certain disciple like Stephen in charge of welfare department and yet so anointed and full of faith ! The church is weak today because we have more members , more converts , more bread seekers than the intended disciples ! Let us go beyond converts, and membership recycling syndrome from church to church , It is time to labour and raise disciples! That is the final move of God! That is the heartbeat of CHRIST !
