THE FINAL PHASE OF THE DREAM The miracle collapses (heals) time and matter equally. They’re both illusions and are equally UN-real ;-) Therefore, time and matter can heal instantaneously via the miracle…if we believe it. Matter may appear more resistant to the miracle but only because of our unconscious fear of Love (God); fear of the magnificent and boundless Power of God that we share. Time and matter were originally made by us through the ego to prove that the imaginary separation from our Creator is real. We decided to forget our shared Power with God. Instead we used that same Power to reverse divine “cause and effect.” Now effects appeared to be causes in themselves. Forgetting that we are the only cause of all we experience, we made countless forms of phenomena or “magic” (time, body, disease, aging, scarcity, conflict, food, laws of nature and death, etc.) to appear to both sustain AND attack us. Jesus tells us in the following quote that we imbued these forms of magic with a creative ability that we believed the mind could not control. Thus, we believe and therefore manifest that we CAN be victimized by them. “The whole distortion that made magic rests on the belief that there is a creative ability in matter which the mind cannot control.”… “The cost of the belief there must be some appearances beyond the hope of change is that the miracle cannot come forth from you consistently.” ACIM, T-2.IV.2:8, T-30.VIII.4:3 The final phase of the dream involves the acceptance that we are the singular DREAMER of the dream. And not the dream itself. It necessitates the literal reversal by our Holy Self, of all the ego’s laws which were previously used to demonstrate separation and attack. This is the literal demonstration of miracles from healed mind to healed body/world; the undoing of the ego’s central dream of death and the complete REVERSAL of the ego’s effect and cause. Jesus tells us: “Miracles enable you to heal the sick and raise the dead because you made sickness and death yourself, and can therefore abolish both.” ACIM, T-1.I.24.The end of the world is not its destruction, but its translation into Heaven. T-11.VIII.1:8. The ego is at last recognized to have no cause and therefore, NO EFFECTS. In this phase we joyously accept that we share God’s Power and Will, knowing there is nothing that can threaten our immutable innocence. While we still place the cause of suffering in the past, in the body, in another or in the world, we unknowingly deny the miracle. If we place the cause anywhere but in the mind, we separate cause and effect so they both cannot be healed permanently. The final phase of the dream entails the demonstration that we, as the Son of God… cannot BE attacked. And that we are sustained exclusively by the Love of God. Hence, in recognition of our Holiness and infinite innocence, we undo all that we originally made to prove separation. We reverse all the laws of the world. Time to celebrate NOW!
