THE. FISH HEAD PALAVA. Some years ago, in the early 1980s, there lives a family in a town in the South West of this country.The family was blessed with two lovely children.The family has a 4flat of 3bedroom each, and two exotic cars for their personal use, and the children attend one of the best private school in the town. The father provides the best available basic things of life for the wife, the children and also attend to the requirements of other dependants. One day, when this man returned from the office, the wife served him with Pounded Yam and Fresh leafy vegetables and fish, he asked the wife to return the fish head in the plate to the soup, to enable the fish head undergo a baptism in the pot of soup, and he would eat it , when he returns from the office, the next day. So. the wife complied immediately, and the man enjoyed the meal. The following day, when the man returned from the office, he observed that, there was no fish head in the soup served him by his wife. So, he asked the wife about the fish head, the wife told him to forget it, herself and the children have eaten it. In a swift reaction, he lost his temper, and gave his wife the best beating of her life. The wife , who was pregnant at that time started bleeding.At first, the man ignored the wife, but later he changed his mind, and rushed the wife to the hospital. The wife died at the hospital, before anybody could attend to her. When the family of the wife heard of the incident, they reported the man to the nearest police station, and the police arrested and detained him immediately.They vowed to pursue the case to a logical conclusion, using every human, material, and financial resources at their disposal. The family of the man, raised a high powered delegates.to condole the family, and to persuade them to drop the case involving their son.The family of the wife thanked them for the visit, but turned down their request.They ordered them to leave their premises immediately , and also threatened to hurt them. Several visits by the family in an attempt to save the life of their son were violently resisted by the family of the wife, they are determined to wreak vengeance. At a family meeting, somebody raised the issue of the welfare of the children, if their son inlaw, was eventually killed, and.what do they stand to gain in the process.That was what prompted the family to decide to withdraw the case . The police claimed that it is a murder case, a criminal case, a crime against the state, and not their family alone. They told the family that, they have concluded all the necessary processes, and the case will be taken to court. The case was taken to the court, and the trial judge found the man guilty as charged, and the man was sentenced to death by hanging. After the death of this man, life became so terrible and unbearable for the children. The family of the man, took over his properties , and used it to their own advantage.Those who promised to take care of the children, did little or nothing for them, after their father was hanged. If you know this children before the death of theirparents, you will probably shed tears for them, when you see their wretched condition, after the death of their parents. Friends, imagine the magnitude of loss brought about by fish head palava,, loss of unborn child, loss of a wonderful home and valuable properties, scattered life of innocent children as a result of the death of parents. I want to advise everyone of us reading this post, to weigh or evaluate the consequences of our action before we actualize it, so that we too, will not become a victim of another fish head palava.
