THE FLESH: PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE Genesis 36:1-8 We have three very formidable enemies in this life; these enemies can and will destroy any life or liberty of the Spirit. They are the devil, the world, and the flesh. The devil is a powerful, ferocious, real enemy. I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. This world (that is this anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-morals, anti-Christian world system) in which we live is a vicious enemy. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. . . I John 2:15 Love not the world. neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. But I want you to know that neither the devil nor the world would have any control, affect or influence on you if it were not for their most powerful, personal ally--THE FLESH! Your number one foe today is not the devil or this crazy anti-Christ world system; it is your own sinful, self-protective, lustful FLESH. THE FLESH IS PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE!
