THE FUNCTION OF GODS LAW The absence of GODS HOLY LAW from modern preaching is perhaps as responsible as any other factor for the evangelistic IMPOTENCE of our churches and missions. Only by the light of the HOLY LAW OF GOD can the vermin of sin in the heart be exposed. Satan has effectively used a very clever device to silence the LAW, which is needed as an instrument to bring perishing men & women to CHRIST JESUS. It is imperative that preachers of today learn how to declare the spiritual LAW OF GOD; for, until we learn how to wound consciences, we shall have no wounds to bind with the GOSPEL BANDAGES OF CHRIST JESUS LOVE. (Walter Chantry). The LAW of GOD is a school master or teacher to show the reason for the fall of mankind from the SPIRITUAL RELATIONSHIP, and the very presence of GOD that was once experienced an enjoyed by mankind. Never fall into the tarp of thinking that GODS LAW has no relevance for the Christian. Not only is it a tutor to bring him to Christ, but leaves him with knowledge that will guide him for the rest of his life. Galatians 3:24, Wherefore the LAW was our SCHOOLMASTER, to bring us unto CHRIST, that we might be JUSTIFIED by FAITH . Ecclesiastes 7:20, For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (OR woman). Romans 3:24, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of GOD. Romans 3:9, What then? are we better than they? No. in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin. The LAW, STOPS THE MOUTH, that the world my be found guilty, and sin exposed. Romans 3:19, Now we know that what things soever the LAW saith, it saith to them who are under the LAW: that every mouth may be stopped, and the world may become guilty before GOD. Titus 1:11, Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucres sake. GOD has given us the TEN COMMANDMENTS, to show our inability to find the life that HE originally intended for us. HE gives us choices, and we, because of the sin nature in people, make the wrong ones.. By exposing the things in life that leads to ETERNAL DEATH AND HELL, we will face at the end of life, for breaking the LAWS OF GOD. We are in need of REPENTANCE OF OUR UNGODLY WAYS, and a PAYMENT for our unlawful, and sinful nature. The JOY AND PEACE we should experience are lost due to our sin nature or rebellion against GOD. We are made perfectly aware that within our own strength we can not find life the way it should be lived according to GODS plan for life. (PERFECTION)! GOD is perfect... HE IS RIGHTEOUS, JUST, & HOLY and HIS ways demands perfection. Something mankind can not accomplish due to his sin nature and fall from grace in the garden of Eden. That is why HE had to send HIS SON JESUS, that committed no sin, to pay our sin debt. You can not correct something with something that is incorrect. An unrighteous act or person CAN NOT, correct itself with another unrighteous event or person. JESUS DID NO SINS! EVEN WHEN HE TOOK ON THE MANTEL OF MAN. HE WAS THE PERFECT PAYMENT FOR THE UNRIGHTEOUS SINS OF MANKIND. HE TOOK OUR GUILT AND PUNISHMENT OF SIN, UPON HIM TO SHOW MANKIND NOT ONLY THE WRATH INCURRED BECAUSE OF OUR LUSTS FOR SIN. BUT TO ALSO SHOW THE LOVE OF GOD OUR FATHER THAT SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVED ON HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. JESUS has made a way of escape from Hell. IT IS SO SIMPLE ITS HARD TO BELIEVE... ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TO ASK HIM TO FORGIVE US AND ACCEPT HIS FORGIVENESS. THEN WE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO LIVE THE LIFE HE HAS FOR US. HE HAS GIVEN A BOOK OF LOVE LETTERS FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO LIVE. IT IS HIS WAY. IN HIS LOVE LETTERS HE SENDS US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD THE BIBLE, WE FIND THAT PEACE THAT IS BEYOND ALL UNDERSTANDING AND JOY BEYOND COMPARE....
