THE GOOD PLANNERS Every day Jesus went to the Temple to teach, and the crowds began gathering in the morning to hear him. And each evening he returned to spend the night on Mount Olives. Luke 21:37,38 LB Jesus planned for services praying all night. These days churches plan programs buying new equipment, uniforms, cooking food and other things. Little attention is paid to prayer. Any planning without quality prayers will yield carnal results. Men may commend the beauty of the church auditorium, the decorations and the presentations of the choir, but no soul will be shown for all these. Jesus prayed all nights, men gathered in the mornings and signs and wonders took place. As an individual, fill the prayer gap in your home, cell group and church. The difference between entertainment and ministration is the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Pray for every service, programme and meeting on your knees, asking God to be there to bless and save lives. When you do this, God will honour you and He will not bypass you when He is blessing men. What you will wear to church is not as important as what God will do in church. When God is present everything else falls into place. PRAYER GUIDE 1. Lord, thank you for today. 2. In the name of Jesus, I will plan every service with God. 3. Holy Spirit, help me to fill the prayer gab in my church. 4. I resist every distraction in the name of Jesus. 5. Tell God about your needs. Give Him praise.
