THE GOSPEL OF 2ND COMING OF GOODLUCK JONATHAN #TanGrandFinale Is only right and good to always show to the world have a man has singlehandedly done for Nigeria; making us the envy of the world. In the history of Nigeria, dating back to emergence of our democracy era, it has not been this good with Nigeria is terms of development and progress. It has come of time, that Nigerians are now very proud to tell the world that they are Nigerians, as we are not only being called the Giant of Africa of also the world most fastest Economy. President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR) has set the pace for overwhelming Transformation of our dear Nation. Since 2011, the Transformation Agenda of Mr President being duly delivered by his carefully selected Ministers have repositioned Nigeria as the Investment destination of Africa. We are not only the most celebrated biggest Economy in Africa, but also, the most United Country in Africa under this dispensation. As President Jonathan have said on several occasion, Nigeria will remain United and we will accomplish even more together as a United Front, destined for ultimate Greatness. I am confident in the workings of the Transformation Agenda of Mr President. This view of his administration has delivered tremendously in Agriculture, Education, Aviation, Infrastructure, Security, Elections reforms, Power sector, Economy, Youths and Women empowerment, Roads construction and transportation. It is only under the administration of Mr President, one can conveniently say that, all ministries are delivering results in line with the transformation agenda, simultaneously. Even the blind can see and the deaf can tell the success stories of the Transformation Agenda under the good leadership of Mr President. He is undeniably the best President Nigeria has ever had. We see now, a Nigeria whose economy is growing faster than most economies in the World with better than 5 % Annual Growth in GDP, we see a Nigeria with low debt rate; this has not happened in many years in our history. This Government has indeed raised the bar for leadership in the country. Under President Jonathan, we see a Nigeria that is obviously enjoying a Peace dividend and better governance with democracy now entrenched in most countries in Africa. Just recently, with the directives of Mr President and the urgent release of funds, we collectively defeated and contained the spread of the deadly disease, Ebola in our country. Through his leadership style and methods, President Jonathan ensured that adequate attention was given to the issue and today, Nigeria is being celebrated all over the world for duly containing the virus and our dear President, is being commended across the world. You will agree with me that, we only need a leader as President Jonathan who is few in words must massive in actions – promising less, but doing much more than imagined. I can boldly say that, Nigeria is rising. Rising from the failures of past government to an era of overall government with open face being run by President Jonathan. The return to democratic rule at the turn of the millennium brought with it better Macroeconomic Management and a series of reforms that unleashed Economic growth, with GDP growing at an average 7 % per annum over the last decade driven by the strong growth in the non-oil sector, particularly telecommunications, manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail, to name a few; these are more is what President Jonathan’s administration represents in the scheme of things. Nigeria’s future is very bright and its key economic indicators are sound. This year alone, we are expecting the economy to grow by 6.5 percent, which is a remarkable growth, indicated by the IMF. Our fiscal deficit is low, expected at 1.03 percent of GDP in 2014, inflation is in single digits, and reserves are relatively strong at almost $40 billion including $4 billion in savings in our Excess Crude Account and $1.55 billion in our Sovereign Wealth Fund. Our stock market has been one of the better performing on the continent, even though profit taking by investors has slowed the market down this year. Our Pension Fund has $27 billion in savings. Moving away from our economy standpoint, President Jonathan’s led administration of building infrastructure, which includes roads and affordable housing for citizens with easy access to them. Through the YouWin programme, the FG have empowered over 50,000 young Nigerian Men and Women to become business owners, with the ability to employ others; now, that is a government that means business with transforming the country. Relatively, we have a very good Human Development Indicators, which have shown our potentials for growth. This administration through its education programmes have established first of its kind, Almajiri Schools in Northern Nigeria to arrest the increasing presence of Almajiri’s on the street. This was what past leaders from those area couldn’t do for their people. Also, the FG is working with the international community led by the UN Special Envoy for Global Education Gordon Brown former PM of UK, on a Safe Schools Initiative. The initiative is designed as a nationwide intervention program aimed at making the school environment safe for our children and their teachers and will prioritize schools in the North eastern states of Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe, where a lot of damage has already been done by Boko Haram. To ensure that this initiative works, the Jonathan led administration has set aside $10 million, and funding of another $10 million or more will come from the private sector-led Victim’s Support Fund launched by our President. The African Development Bank is supporting the initiative with a US$1 million grant and DFID has committed 1 million pounds in technical assistance. The Norwegian government has already disbursed US $1.5 million to UNICEF in support of the initiative, and the German government is processing a grant of 2 million euros for the initiative. Just recently, this government developed a 30-year Nigerian Integrated Infrastructure MasterPlan for accelerating infrastructure development in the country. This will position Nigeria in even greater path in the future. President Jonathan is already working for the future of Nigeria, now. Also, this Administration through its ever-green POWER Reforms embarked on one of the largest privatization programs to ever take place in in Africa, and put in place supporting institutions such as the Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trader (NBET) and the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to encourage more private investments in the sector. The privatization processes was completed about a year ago, and it has yielded over $2billion in revenues. In the Roads Sector, the government launched the construction of the 2ND Niger Bridge which links the West and East of the Country. When completed, this bridge will facilitate the enormous trading and business opportunities between two of the economic regions of the country. This is in addition to massive construction and improvements of our road network, with more than 32 Road Rehabilitation and Construction Projects completed and several more are ongoing. Also, massive improvement of the AVIATION Sector as shown in the robust remodelling of our 22 airports across the nation. Our AGRICULTURAL Sector is working, evident in the redesigning of the supply mechanisms of Agriculture inputs like fertilizers and seeds through an e-Wallet system that ensures about 70 percent of farmers have access to subsidized inputs, against 11% under the old system. This government is also taking a value chain approach to Food Production, starting with Rice and Cassava. If he can do all these things, even in the face of fierce Security Challenges, then he can do MUCH MORE in the coming years. Indeed Nigerians are BLESSED to have Jonathan again to Complete His Good Works for our country. I Testify of The GOODNESS of GOODLUCK!
