THE GREATEST TEACHER EVER IN MY LIFE.....QAYYUM KHAN SIR..... The life a person is worthless if he does not get a good teacher in his initial stage of life .I am lucky that I came across a great teacher during my student life but I am unfortunate that he came to my life too late and GOD snatched away him from us uncertain...untimely......he could have serve the society and could have inspire many more student like me..... What can I say about his teaching.....he was not bind to any particular subject.Though he was a literature(ENGLISH) teacher he had vast knowledge in English, Science, Geography,Math,Economics,History,Urdu,Persian......probably he know about everything.....He was an encyclopaedia in himself...... Not only he had knowledge but also his way of teaching was completely different.....wonderful presentation skill..... It was he who told me how the value of money of a country calculated...... It was he who had told me about Ravindranath Tagore, Sarat Charnda Chatopadhaya, Prem Chad, Shakespere, Wodsworth, Lord Tennyson, Manoj Das and about many more great poets, novelists and writers of the world and India........ It was he who taught me ABCD of English and URDU Grammer.... Not only teaching... he was a perfect man in his personal life, a devout Muslim who was praying 5 times a day.....so much was his devotion that He had passed away during his pray......probably he had got painless death.......His funeral was attended by more than 2000 people..... Though he was a devout Muslim......but it is he who actually taught me the meaning of secularism.....surprising but true......he had good knowledge of Ramayan,Mahabharat ,Geeta and Vedas...... He was a good football player in his hey days......so also was giving importance on physical health along with education....it only due to his suggestion my father had allowed me to join NCC in school days....bcoz my father was also his student...... Probably I can not explain all of his virtues.... only I can say that type of teacher Born very rare......though he is not today he will always be there in my memories and his teachings will guide and inspire me till my last breath....may his soul rest in peace.....ameen..... HAPPY TEACHERS DAY.......
