THE HARDY HOUSE STORY We rehabbed several houses in my single years. The last one left was a pretty little house on a hill in Hardy. A young mother rented and destroyed it. Really...broke the facets off at the sinks, huge wholes in the walls and floors. They broke the heavy wooden front door from its hinges.The cabinets were ruined....(enough of that part.) Times changed and I let it set. One day Ashley and Cline got a call looking for me. Honestly, I thought it was my friends from City Hall asking me to do something with the property. It was a young lady wanting to change her circumstances. She had seen the house and even bravely walked through it. We met at Hardy McDonalds. She ask what I wanted for the house. I told her..(being fair I thought.) She took a deep breath and told me she could afford one third of what I ask. We wrote our deal down...NOW the awesome part: each month My Friend takes the time and writes me a letter with her payment. The letter tells of her family, job, kids, sweetheart and so forth. These letters mean so much to me...she takes the time...and always says thank you for making a difference. I save them to open on my call nights by myself...you see, my friend makes a difference to me! Cindy
