THE HIMALAYAN CATASTROPHE...... My heart goes out to those who lost their lives in one of the worst natural disasters of our times. The Himalaya, one of the youngest mountains in the world, is a eco-fragile zone. Since many years, many large projects have come up here in the name of development. Many sharks, with all their might, have manipulated the system to reap rich harvest at the cost of ordinary people & environment. Sundarlal Bahuguna, Chandiprasad Bhat and a host of other environmentalists have been ringing alarm bells. But....alas...they are falling on deaf ears.......
